I suppose this reviewer should take into account the fact that this facility was only in operation for one month previous to admission, but I've never experienced such disorganization in any other hospital. And it's not a hospital, because they don't have ready access to lab work, and there was often difficulty in blood draws. The staff wasn't able to manage disruptive resident behavior and were generally inexperienced. The beds aren't really beds, but extremely hard rubber mats with uncomfortable bedspreads and no blankets. The food was excellent, and the chef provided some of the most personalized care. No one seemed to notice that I was just as sick when I left as when I came in. I just needed to get out of there, because it was so chaotic. Addiction and mental illness overlap, but treatment cannot be effective when both populations can't be given the attention that they need.
