as a secret shopper I try fair. However , I have never felt as horrible as I did after leaving HIghland Opticians. They didn't know I was still in the store after being helped....

Superb customer service 8/22/2011

I've been going to Highland Opticians for 38 years, and never had anything but a positive experience. They are competent, pleasant and cheerful. Even if there is a bit of a wait, each customer receives a proper greeting and a ""we'll be with you soon"". The selection of frames and sunglasses is first rate. That secret shopper (previous review) must have an axe to grind which has nothing to do with the matter at hand!! I'd be hard pressed to think of a better run retail establishment. more

Great Service, Friendly People 7/27/2009

I went into Highland Opticians to get my sunglasses fixed and couldn't have had a better experience. Everyone who I encountered there was friendly and trying to help me out. They were able to figure out my problem right away and fix it on the spot. And in the end, it was much cheaper than I expected it to be! Based on this experience, they have made a lifelong customer. Great all-around service!!!! 9/5/2008

I have never had a better experience shopping. All of the employees were very helpful and inquisitive to all of my questions and concerns. Their selection was great and they gave me sound advice on what glasses would work for me. It had the feel of a mom and pop store, but the service of a 5 star corporation. I couldn?t be happier with the whole experience and I would recommend the store to everyone. more

Best Optical Store 9/5/2008

I have been a customer of Highland Opticians for over 25 years and have only the best words to say about the store . They have always gone above and beyond to help me in any way they can. They have always treated me with dignity and respect. Their optical knowledge has always been impressive and came highly reccommended by my doctor. Their upbeat and helpful attitude is refreshing in a day where service has come to mean nothing. I would respectfully disagree with secretshopper22. Pros: Service and Expertise more

as a secret shopper I try fair. However , I have never felt as horrible as I did after leaving HIghland Opticians. They didn't know I was still in the store after being helped. what followed was truly eye opening. The women proceeded to complain about me and everyone else who had visited the store that day. no one was spared the onslaught of verbal abuse and criticism which followed. the young owners daughter was by far the worse. althogh she seemed soooo nice while helping me, she said awful things about me after she thought I had left. more
