After living at High Acres for over a year, I would not recommend this housing community to anyone. They are friendly and pleasant to get you in the door, but once you sign the least you're just a another number and source of revenue. They are unwilling to work with you on any issue and are overwhelmingly rude in the office. The Morgan Management office (who owns and runs High Acres) is worlds worse. They are impossible to get on the phone, almost never return calls, and speak down to you. Dealing with management aside the building themselves are terrible. The walls are paper thin, the A/Cs are old and never work in the hot summer, and they will not replace them or do anything to fix them. The stoves are cheap and don't work regularly. The back porches are rotting and not safe to sit on. The roofs are leaky and the complex does not change them, they simply patch them ""when needed"". This was a problem when my ceiling leaked all over a computer desk. The repair men came and left a huge whole in my ceiling that was not fixed for 5 more days. In the time it was left open I had to empty that room because hundreds of ants came flooding out of the hole, the company did nothing to fix this or my property that was damaged. Then when finally ""fixed"" the paint they used to cover the hole was entirely different then the rest of the paint on the ceiling. Once you sign the lease at high acres you will be discarded by the management and be left to regret your decision to live here for the remainder of your lease term. Living here has been a horrible experience and I will be leaving as soon as possible. Don't make my mistake.
