This towing company is nothing but a bunch of scam artists. They drive around looking for bogus reasons to tow you. Just like the other review, my car was also towed from an area that was unmarked. Nowhere on the sign does it tell you the proper place for visitors to park. You have to drive around the parking lot to find a very small sign to tell you (found this out after the fact). The parking spots are not marked in any way to tell you where or where not to park. The very RUDE man at the office of HICKORY TOWING will argue with you saying it is. I even have pictures of the sign showing it says nothing. The place where they bring your car is full of giant pot holes the size of craters while your car hits them on the way in. Then they park your car inches away from glass and metal scewers which could easily pop your tires. The man is very rude and unprofessional. i wouldnt recommend my worst enemy to these crooks. He only accepts cash and closes at 5:00 which is a ridiculous time seeing how most people are still working until then. This is just another way for him to get an extra $20 out of you if $150 wasnt enough to begin with. i will be contacting better business bureau on this con artist of a company. Steer clear of them and dont ever use them for any type of services. i would give them a zero rating, but it wont let me. more

Towed three "Mom" cars (including car seats) away from an area as fast as he could, even though the area was not clearly marked (apparently there is a small sign near the entrance of the property, but nowhere else, that decals were required--all three moms looked for a sign, but didn't see one) and the parking lot was otherwise empty, while he could see their little kids watching and didn't even ask the kids to go get their moms. One mom saw her car just in time, but the other two cars were gone. The property manager wasn't thrilled about it. Had to travel down to pick up the cars without carseats to get the cars back. Then, the people weren't even in the office, so two moms (one 6 mos. pregnant, one with two kids under age 5) had to walk to the other side of the property in the 90 degree weather and wait to get the cars back. Very nice of the company, I'm sure. more

I called several other companys to have my truck towed, it only needed to go 4 miles. The average price was $85, Hickory Towing did it for $65 and were at my home in 25 minutes. Awsome Job. more
