I was honestly horribly disappointed with the service and treatment my party and I received here. From the hostess, to the waiter, to the Hibachi chef, everyone was downright rude...

Best place to HANG OUT!!! 1/16/2009

Best place to HANG OUT!!!! I went to there for girl out. It was so exiciting place I have ever seen Dallas. The bar is absolutely cool like a Vegas and people were very cool there. We started with Ahi Tower, Monkey Brain, Edamami, Heart Attack which were wonderful dishes so far and I had Scallop and shrimp dish. It was very good Asian food. The price was unexpensive. Especially, we had half price wine and fire show in the bar. Very cool place. I recomended everyone because they have very quite and dinning, loud and cool bar and very exciting Teppon in the back. Very nice place............ Pros: Romantic Cons: none more

Different Quality Experience! 12/21/2008

After shopping at the Galleria, my friends were craving sushi so we found Hibashi, right across from the Galleria. Hibashi seemed like a usual sushi and teppan joint from outside yet inside decor and atmosphere was TRULY AMAZING. The food was great, very fresh, and service was very satisfying. After dinner we hung out at the bar, I was surprised, they have great happy hour selections for a restaurant! If you have some time to stick around, I really recommend you to check out the bartender flair show, it was really something different that you would not be able to see in Dallas. I, myself, love sushi and tried many different places in Dallas, but now Hibashi is on top of my list. I strongly recommend for different quality experience! Pros: FLAIR SHOW! Cons: - more

awesome! 12/9/2008

Sushi: When im in the mood for just sushi..i like to sit in at the sushi bar bc they have nice suede seats and its just really comfortable when your eating...really romantic too..the rolls are awesome..very different...you wont find their special rolls to be at blue fish or other places...they have rolls that literally come on fire like the white dragon roll (favorite!)..or the snowman roll that is topped with whip cream...a disadvantage i would say is that the rolls arent as big as the rolls as blue fish...but then again...that is what blue fish is known for..cant help that...to make up for it..they're really really really good...i also like how the cali roll actually has real snow crab in it..taste better.. Hibachi: when i go with my grandparent...i really like going to the hibachi section...its in a nice open area...again..great atmosphere and lighting...the tables are actually a little bigger than other places...and again...makes it more comfortable...every thing is spaced very well so you dont feel cramped...there is also a huge private room with a flat screen tv..i think it would be great to get some friends together to eat and watch the big game...the food is soooooo good..be sure to try the filet and shrimp with fried rice...with cold sake...a great combo.. overall, if you live in the dallas area...its a great place to visit at least once...you wont regret it... Pros: awesome service Cons: none more

great food, a little pricey... 11/24/2008

Very nice setup, I like how it's spaced out and has a lot of breathing room. A very modern appeal and the color changing of the bar makes this a great place to take a date. Bar is nice if you're just wanting sushi and some drinks but also has a full teppan style grill for eating dinner. Beer, here, IMO, is on the pricey side. I'd recommend mixed drinks rather than beer as the beer is only slight cheaper than a mixed drink/ The food was remarkable and extraordinarily fresh. I recommend ordering off the 'Teppan' section as you get a full course meal with soup, salad, rice and your main course. I didn't like that I got charged extra (on both me and my girlfriend's meal) on my receipt for fried rice. I'm paying 47$ for a lobster tail, filet mignon and scallops you think the least they could do is not charge you another 2.50$ for fried rice...just a suggestion but it seems rather nickel and dimeish. There is a huge difference in taste between the filet and the steak, I recommend the filet. The serving staff made a mistake and gave our sushi we ordered to someone else on our table first, not a huge deal and they recognized it shortly there after. The problem was they billed us twice for sushi on our bill and instead of just refunding my card 7$ they ran my card again although refunding my previous bill but now I'm out 100$ bucks until their merchant service company credits back my money. Not a huge deal but definitely an inconvenience. I didn't know they did a little show (yes saw 'vegas show ad but doesn't describe much about what goes on) with at the bar but I happened to pick 8p.m. as reservation time. It might help customers if mgmt mentions that a 'show' happens at 8p.m,. when people call in(or whatever times they happen) so people plan appropriately as it was very fun and entertaining. I recommend this place, was great food! Pros: Complimentary Valet, Nice Bar Cons: Pricey Drinks more

GREAT!!!!!! 11/22/2008

The food is excellent!!! Some of the best sushi I have had recently, the ingredients seemed incredibly fresh. This is the perfect place to go if you are super hungry because the portions are really big but the prices are reasonable. more

Loved it... 11/9/2008

I love these kind of restaurants! You sit back and visit with friends while you are entertained with watching your meal being cooked. These restaurants have become more popular in recent years, but I still enjoy going to them. You can also have appetizers or a meal of Sushi...caters to people with all different tastes in food. more

AMAZING sushi, amazing food. 9/10/2008

My first impression upon walking in was WOW. The place is amazingly decorated and gorgeous on the inside. They have the hibachi tables, sushi bar, drink bar, and individual tables for seating. We were seated immediately and the waitress was super sweet and very attentive, taking our drink orders right away and always keeping them filled and our table cleared of dishes. We ordered salmon rolls to start, and they came out super fast. Our order came with 6 big sushi rolls that tasted so delicious I could have devoured an entire plate of them myself - the rice was perfect, and the salmon was super yummy and fresh. For dinner, I ordered the Teppanyaki Shrimp with fried rice, and my boyfriend got the Teppanyaki Steak with steamed rice. [he was a little dissapointed they didnt have brown rice]. Our dinners came with Miso soup and a super crisp, fresh salad with yummy ginger dressing, which came out just as we were finishing our sushi. The waitstaff has an amazing sense of timing it seems, because just as we were finishing our soup and salad, our dinner was brought out! My shrimp was so good - perfectly seasoned and cooked. My boyfriend's steak was perfect - tender and juicy.. so good i had to steal a couple bites. :P Both were served on a bed of crispy grilled veggies - onions, mushrooms, broccoli and zucchini. I would have liked a little more of the veggies - especially the broccoli.. there seemed to be an overabundance of onion and only a few bites of broccoli, but no biggie. The rice deserves its own praise. I could eat a mountain of that fried rice. They could have served me absolutely nothing but some salmon rolls and a giant bowl of fried rice and I would have flocked here to sing this place's praises. It is THAT good. Take my word for it and get the fried rice - my boyfriend sure was jealous he didnt. :P The entire dinner came to just over 50 dollars for the two of us - very reasonable for all the food we got IMO. I'll definately be back! Pros: Great ambience, great food, great value. free valet parking. Cons: its not free. :P more

wonderful restaurant 8/4/2008

OMG I just love this restaurant! We went there for a friend's birthday and the staff was excellent! All the food we had was amazing, especially the filet mignon hibachi-style, and the spicy tuna. Also, we enjoyed a great bottle of Reisling with the sushi and the cold saki is to die for! And to top it all off, all of the people in our party received free dessert due to it being my friend's birthday! We will definitely be going back soon! Pros: great food, staff, alcohol selection Cons: none more
