I will never have another party at this establishment again! I had my son's 7th birthday party here on a Saturday, and when I arrived I found out that they were short staffed and had booked 14 parties that day. Once we got into the party room I had no hostess, my drinks were not all served to my kids till after they ate their pizza. I had to serve the pizza to my kids, I had to cut the cake and give it all to my guest. I ran out of plates and forks for the cake and was unable to find anyone to get me anymore. My family that attended the party also cleaned up the room due to the next party coming in and asking if we was going to clean it. I was NOT able to enjoy my son's birthday with him due to the fact that this place did not have enough staff to accomadate the parties that they overbooked. Also, when I called the GM Linda Frizzell, to let her know how bad of an exprience I had, she felt the only way to make it up was to give me some petty free bowling tickets. Hermitage Lanes is a great place to enjoy bowling, arcade, birthday parties, etc. They are completely smoke free. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the staff is very friendly and helpful. more

This is the bowling alley closest to my house, but it's also my most preferred. Sure, bowling can be expensive when you're not there on a special, but they've got so many specials going that it's a great value a lot of the time. Pros: Great specials! more

Wow! What great service! I live in California and arranged a special party for a special niece (age 38) at this Bowling Alley in Hermitage. Mark, the manager, was so VERY helpful with all the details, planning, costs, accomodations. He called me to check on details and didn't charge my credit card until the day of party. This establishment is not competitvely priced for small numbers. My wife and I wanted to bowl and was told $4.75 a game or an hour for $36 dollar. For two people looking to bowl about 3 games a piece, that price is outrageous. Especially when some of other bowling alleys are charging $2 dollars a game or $8 dollar an hour for each person. I have had my kids birthday partys a couple of times and spent tons of money in the arcade on numerous occasions. BUT, I took my kids there to bowl one night and was told we could NOT bowl because the league was going to be bowling that night. I did NOT appreciate this whatsoever and I had spent over a hundred dollars in the lounge and arcade combined already that night. My kids and I really enjoy the horse racing game there and we go there as often as possible to play that game spending probably fifty bucks at a time doing that. Also, the food is pretty good but just a little higher that it should be. I would say the place is really cool and has alot to do if you want to spend your money, but if you want to BOWL with your kids you'd better go somewhere else!!!!! more

This is a large bowling center that has plenty of lanes and areas just for kids. There is an large arcade and party rooms for birthday parties. It is generally clean, but can be really smokey. They have league bowling at night, and are open most days of the week. I have been there for birthday parties and my sone always had a good time. The arcade is usually a bigger hit than the bowling. It can be crowded, lots families come here, especially on saturdays. more

You can bowl on well kept lanes with the newest BRUNSWICK(C) Vector scoring, New gutters and pins. They also have AJ's arcade with is one of the largest arcades in middle tennessee. and while you child is in the arcade you can go inside of Legends Bar and Grill and have a drink or some good food. I frequent Hermitage Lanes to take my kids bowling and play in the arcade. They absolutely love it. The prices are very affordable and the establishment is usually clean and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile, which is very important to me. I like to feel welcome when I spend money on entertainment for my children. They strive to provide 100% satisfaction to the consumer. more

Hermitage Lanes is a great place to go, whether you are serious bowler or just there to have fun with your friends. You can meet new people while bowling a game or two, or play games all night with all of your old friends. The atmosphere is so pleasant and welcoming. The people who were there are so nice and friendly. It's a family-friendly place with a lot of style for the older kids too. Pros: nice people, lots of fun more
