Good: My doctor, Kathleen Ingram. She is very thorough and attentive to your questions and concerns. I have tried going to other hospitals at the beginning of my pregnancies, and always end up back with Dr. Ingram. The hospital staff for the most part is wonderful during and after delivery.. Bad: The front desk staff sometimes seem annoyed and unless you have the earliest morning appointment, plan to WAIT, especially after lunch.. Improvements: They need to not schedule so many patients at the same time. I usually have to wait there a minimum of 20 minutes to be seen, and has been up to 2 hours in the waiting room.. Other: A few of the nurses I've had over my 4 deliveries there have been very difficult and I would not want them again, but I have learned to just ask for a different nurse. :) I love Dr. Ingram, so it's worth it.. more

I had an appointment for an annual with Dr. Elizabeth Snowden two weeks ago. As I have a history of abnormal paps, I called a week after my appointment for my results. I have left one or two messages a day for the last three days and have yet to get my results. I have been told repeatedly - the nurse (Gina) will call you back. I'm still waiting.... more

This is a very large OB/GYN practice who's main office is located at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. They have very professional staff. The office waiting area is nicely decorated with up to date reading materials for your convenience while you wait. The one drawback to this group is that it is so large that you feel like a "Number" rather than an individual. Some people do not mind this but I prefer more personalized care. They offer on-site testing and have many other amenities at hand. more

My wife has been a patient of Henderson and Walton for over two years. I accompanied her on many visits during her pregnancy. The office staff was always friendly and welcoming. I looked forward to our many visits because they made us feel so comfortable. When they were unable to find my daughter's heartbeat at 12 weeks gestation the staff was quick to get us in for an ultrasound to reassure us that everything was OK. I am looking forward to using them for our next pregnancy. more
