Wow, it's a beautiful place from the outside. One of the most beautiful buildings in Kalamazoo. I've heard wonderful, intriguing things about it's architecture and the decor, but I've never been inside. It has always been one of those places that interested the whole family. Every time we would drive by with our young children, my son would exclaim that he wanted to grow up and own that house! more

I recently toured the castle as a potential venue for my upcoming wedding. The castle and grounds are absolutely stunning, and I really enjoyed our tour with Francois. Each room has its own distinct history and the furnishings are very modern while still maintaining the luxurious, royal atmosphere of the castle. I must say, my absolute favorite part of the entire castle was the kitchen! Glimpsing inside the kitchen, seeing some of the castle's original fixtures, and imagining the incredible four, or even seven course meals that are created there made me feel like Charlie in the Chocolate Factory! more

  • Francois Moyet is now the proud new owner of the Henderson Castle and is looking for the opportunity to open a full service restaurant soon in the Castle as well to develop a full Spa Naturopathic wellness center.Also of interest, the castle was the setting for a science fiction movie filmed in Kalamazoo and was feature in the Travel Channel in several shows including Ghost hunter.
