Chris from Hemco came out, troubleshot unit, repaired unit. He was courteous, very knowledgeable about the unit, and tried various money saving solutions and diagnostics prior to installing the part. He has a very detailed diagnostic process that would have ensured the failing part, was indeed the problem, and the only problem. Top notch service, unbelievable pricing and guaranteed to only do what is necessary to get the unit(s) up and running. more

The folks at Hemco were great to work with, from my initial call, through price quotation and installation. They were responsive and willing to work with my budget and overall ended up saving me on my new ac/heat pump installation. Highly recommend these guys. more

Central A/C - Service or Repair 5/28/2010

Thanks Hemco and Chris, I had surgery on Monday & that night the air conditioning stopped working. I called a local contractor & he was backed up he gave me a number of another one I called that # & NEVER was called me back. I then remembered ServiceMagic, went to the website & found local contractors. I called Hemco Thursday night & left a message, Sue called me Friday morning and scheduled the service call for 8-12. While I made the matter worse and kept the system running causing it to totally freeze up Chris worked to clear the unit of all the ice and was then able to fix it. Thanks to everyone at Hemco and Service Magic. more

They were prompt with providing the estimate and stayed within our budget. The work was begun soon thereafter and they worked until it was completed in a timely fashion. The forman kept us informed throughout the proccess and the crew kept the work area clean and hazard free. The finished roof and trim exceeded our expectations. We would recommend Hemco to anyone considering having there roof and trim repaired or replaced. more

Personable...ontime...did exactly what he said he was going to do...offered to repair instead of replace when others couldn't be bothered to repair. He saved me a ton of money!!! more

The contractor called within hours of our request and came out to bid the same day, a Saturday at that. The bid was reasonable and the contractor scheduled to do the work the next day, Sunday. Even though the winds were strong, the contractor fulfilled his schedule and completed the work quickly and for the agreed upon rate. more

they started work last Monday. I was impressed with the professionalism of the crew, although I have yet to meet the Proprietor, Joe, in person... It is interesting to watch these workers; I ask a good many questions and they are very forthcoming. more
