Pharmacy Assisting Program 7/27/2009

I attended four classes from a Pharmacy Assisting class at helping hands trade school and discovered that this class was a total scam. It was teaching me how to become a CASHIER at a pharmacy! I am already trained as a cashier and I know billing methods and I had to pay NOTHING! It was taught on the job. So I called up asking the school for a refund and they said no. So I asked them a simple question "Why would anyone need to pay $400 to become a cashier in a pharmacy?" and the gentleman I spoke to replied by saying " I don't know". So in conclusion I would not recommend this school to anyone unless you like being ripped off. If there was a way to rate this school as an absolute zero, I would. - Emily more

Trade School With Low Cost For Classes 4/3/2006

Helping Hands does more than just a home care agency. There is a trade school that has course offerings in; CNA, CMA, Dental Assistant, CRMA, Medical Billing & Insurance Coding, Medical Terminology & Anatomy, Medical Office Management, to name a fewI. Most of these classes are cheaper than other trade schools and you can be done in a shorter amount of time. They usually have the books you need so this helps keep the cost down for you. I got my CNA in just a month's time. more
