I recently lost my stylist,(she moved out of state)So I spoke w/my daughter who LOVES her stylist Ginny @""Hello Gorgeous""! I ALWAYS dread ""finding"" a new stylist but must say Ginny made it so much easier. I went in, Ginny and I talked about what I wanted done. She did a FANTASTIC job. I couldn't be more HAPPY! As we all know it's hard to find someone who can cut/style your hair just the way you like it. I went here with three different pictures of haircuts and left with one of the most fabulous haircut and styles ever. Anna was very friendly, knowledgeable and took my ideas to blend them into a great haircut. She showed me how to style it at home on my own and even offered one week to come back if there was anything I did not like about the haircut. I would highly recommend this place, specifically Anna since she was the one who cut my hair! more

Kathy has been doing my hair and my sons hair for years. She does a fabulous job and is professional. Kathy is funny and kind, she has a big heart. I have always left 100% satisfied. She has decorated the salon so that you feel comfortable and welcome. Her prices are great and the other hairstylists are funny, warm, and welcoming too. She plays great music, has a variety of magazines, and even has a flat screen! She serves a variety of beverages too. Not only will your hair look beautiful, you will be pampered too! more

Right off the top I have to say Kathy is the BEST hairstylist I have ever had and will likely ever have. I have been seeing Kathy for roughly 15 years and have never come out unhappy. The first time I saw Kathy I was in 6th grade and a stylist at Supper Cuts decided to ignore what I asked for and gave me a boy's bull cut, I am girl. Not only was Kathy kind to me after that debacle but she was able to ""repair"" the damage so to speak and fix the cut so that I didn't look like a boy and get bullied further due to that retarded hair cut. She has always been kind and funny and makes sure that I look good. She has wonderful professional advice and has been able to get me out of my comfort zone to discover some wonderful new do's. She even got me to dye my hair black (I'm naturally blonde) with red streaks and I loved it! She is fantastic when it comes to the proper hair color and shades. I despise having long hair but she always makes my short hair look feminine, stylish, and wonderful. It did take many years for me to get highlights or dye my hair at all but Kathy has always respected what I want and what I am willing to do, she never does something without my permission. In fact I trust Kathy so much that when I moved to Utah, unless it was unavoidable, I would wait to get my hair done until the next time I was in town and I feel entirely comfortable with going in a telling her to do whatever cut she wants to my hair because I know it will come out great. I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone with any type of hair you will come out looking fantastic. As side note Bridget/Sarah you are an adult if you did not want highlights then you should not have gotten them also you may wish to look up what highlights are. Kathy gives great advice but if you were unsure you should have said no, and yes beauty can be painful but equally true is that Kathy does not intentionally cause pain in fact she is a lot more gentle than anyone else I've ever gone to. more

Kathy is by far the best hairstylist I have ever been to. I have been going to her for over 5 years now and have never left unhappy. She always listens to what I want, but does not hesitate to make suggestions if she thinks something might work better for my hair. She knows her stuff and I completely trust her with my hair (and also my daughter's). When I first met Kathy, my hair was very unhealthy. With her expertise in color levels and layering my hair, she quickly turned that around. My hair has never looked so good or been so healthy. OUCH!!!! I went in this weekend and Cathy (Kathy? - I think she's the owner) permed and cut my hair. My scalp is chemical burnt! It hurts! I told her that it felt like my head was burning be she told me it looked fine. She should have put the cell phone down! Awful!!!!!!!! more

I've been getting my hair done by Kathy for over 3 years. I used to HATE sitting in a chair only to leave unsatisfied with my not-so-easy to manage hair. I found Kathy quite by accident and she has evolved my curly/frizzy mess into manageable, soft, pretty hair. She recommended the Brazilian Blowout last summer and I absolutely love it! I just want to say that this is by far the best beauty parlor I've ever visited. I absolutely love Kathy and she has never led me wrong once. She's had me go from split ends to beautiful hair in no time and I always feel great after seeing her. Especially considering that I'm the kind of girl that loves her hair to death and wont let anyone touch it. You are in for a treat if you see anyone at Hello Georgeous. I have known Kathy for years and she is creative and has a great sense of humor. She is one stylist that really listens to her customers and I am amazed at the beautiful styles she has turned out over the years. She goes above and beyond to keep her customers happy. She works with her clients an their schedules and is very flexible. She is always taking new ideas to another level and stays educated in the latest styles and techniques. Years ago I was lucky enough to have her work for me in one of my 2 salons. She brought a great energy and light to our salon. I have followed her career since I left the salon business 10 years ago. She has kept me current in my style and it is always a joy to see her. Her salon is warm and the stylists are very talented. Kathy is always so busy so about 6 months ago I started seeing Dana and she has taken great care of my fine, wimpy hair. I take her advice on style and color and have never been disappointed. She is fortunate to have Kathy as a mentor as she develops herself as a stylist. I see Dana doing very well in the salon business. I always look forward to what Dana is going to come up with next and she is a perfectionist in her work while being very creative. This is a salon you go to not just for a new look or trim but for a great time. I would recommend Hello Georgeous to anyone in the area and even if you have to drive from Gresham it is worth the drive for the look and fun you will have. more

I love how Hello Georgeous keeps evolving and love, love, love Kathy. She is an awesome hairdresser and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Previously Kathy worked for me at Hair Else in Hillsboro and she was a godsend. Her bubbly personality and her creativity are amazing. She brought a light and great energy into our salon. Since moving on to another career 10 years ago I have kept in touch with Kathy and followed her career. She has kept me current with local and global trends and I thank her for that. In the last 6 months I have been seeing Dana in her salon because Kathy is so busy and I love to support up and coming stylists. Dana is very talented and I see her going far in the salon business. She is upbeat and has great ideas for my wimpy fine hair. She is fortunate to have Kathy as a tutor and I see the rapport they are building. I would recommend Hello Georgeous to anyone in the area and even if you are not in the area it is worth the drive! The salon itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere and there is a lot of creativity and laughter going on. more

Anna is the best and I love Hello Gorgeous!! I have been following Anna for over 7 years now and she has NEVER let me down! She has always changed me from brown, to blonde and even PINK without damaging my hair! She is so fun as a person and a stylist, and I love the environment the girls create in the salon. It's a very laid back place, and I can go and relax and just have time to chat with other people who never seem to have a dull conversation. I have very very thick curly hair and Anna can tame my mess into something amazing. She is honest and keeps up with the lastest styles. She would never give me a cut or color that wouldn't fit with my features. She really cares for you as a person, not just a client which I can really respect her for. My husband and my daughter also see her so she is someone the whole family can have fun with. I will never go anywhere else and you neither should you!! more

Kathy has been doing my hair and also my family's hair for many years as we value her expertise as a beautician and as a friend. She is very aware of current trends and works to give her clients hairstyles that suit them and their needs. She is excellent at listening to your needs and then working with you for the very best look in color and style. Clients hold high expectations for their hair and Kathy delivers. She will work with whatever you ask and give her opinion on whether that is possible or feasible for your particular hair style. I so value that if she has an opening in her appointment book, she is willing to fit you in that space as many of us have busy lifestyles and have to make changes in our appointments. I believe it is a creative talent in working with hair color, styles, and perms and everyone has their own idea of how it should look and Kathy works hard and creatively to meet those expectations but the expectations have to be realistic. My family and my friends are grateful for her wonderful gifts throughout the years in creating our own beautiful and colorful hairstyles. I have been seeing Kathy for over 9 years and every time I walked out of her salon, my hair style (cut or color) was MORE than I expected. Kathy has always honored my wishes but has offered her PROFESSIONAL advice on how to enhance the expectations I walked in with. My family & I've been going to Kathy for all most 20 yrs. We get color,high light's. Even a few perm's over the yrs. My daughter resently got a brazilian blowout. Her hair is just beautiful.. Kathy is alway's taking class's. I love that she keep's up with what's in today. She has been doing this, long enough, to do the older look's too. It's great when 3 generations can go to the same hairdresser. And everyone is happy.. Kathy has be come more like family. She is no cookie cutter hairdresser.. To know her is to love her!!! We do!!! When I lost my last hairdresser, I was devastated.....I honestly didn't think my hairdresser could be replaced then I found Ginny. I have never been HAPPIER! I highly recommend her! Ginny will make you feel truely beautiful. Her ability to choose the best color to compliment my skin tone and cut to flatter my facial features is AMAZING! She educates me on the products to keep my hair looking fabulous between visits and makes sure I am able to style my hair on my own before I leave.
