Best

I'm new the area and decided to turn to Google to help me find my next vet for my cat and two dachshunds. I loved that there was a cat hospital near me, and even better, they also...

Worst

PLEASE do not take your cat there if you want her to be OK. I did, and 5 months of around the clock care and $4000 went down the drain BUT most importantly, my cat became as sick ...

Excellent care and service! 2/16/2012

I'm new the area and decided to turn to Google to help me find my next vet for my cat and two dachshunds. I loved that there was a cat hospital near me, and even better, they also treated small dogs! Perfect! The reviews on saw on this site helped to cement my decision to make an appointment. \r \r Well, I can say that I was not disappointed! The clinic was beautiful and everything was neat and clean. The staff that greeted me were friendly and promptly got me and my kitty situated in a room. After getting a detailed history from me, the technician prepared what they called an ""estimate"" which had everything that was recommended. It was certainly nice to see everything listed up front and no one, not even the doctor, tried to push anything on me. I ended up doing the full recommendation and was very happy with the service provided and the price. The doctor was very friendly and had a natural ease talking with me and dealing with my cat. I look forward to bringing in my two dogs when the time comes to update their vaccines! Highly recommend this clinic! :) more

Wonderful Vet - take your cats here for excellent care! 5/22/2011

I have been taking all three of my cats to Dr. Whissen-Durham since she opened her clinic, and could not be happier with the care they have received. She truly is invested in the highest standard of care for her patients (and their owners, when needed). One of my cats developed a hyperthyroid condition and IBS over the last few years and Dr. Whissen-Durham has treated her with great success - my cat is now doing great and I am so thankful. I've had cats all of my life and thus have had several vets, but I would not entrust the care of my cats to anyone else! \r \r I read the negative review posted here (and cut and pasted elsewhere) about Dr. Whissen-Durham, and can only conclude it is the rantings of a disgruntled emplyee trying to tarnish the reputation of an exceptional vet. That review in no way portrays the clinic or the demeanor of Dr. Whissen-Durham accurately at all (as every other review will attest to) - just take your cats to her and see the difference her thorough and high-quality care will make to the life of your pet! Highly recommended! more

BEST Vet!! Highly Recommend!! 5/4/2011

I knew Dr. Deanne from when she worked at a clinic in Lewisville. My cat was diagnosed with Diabetes. He had to go through a lot of changes in his life. We changed is diet and he was on insulin for a few years. \r \r My sweet boy lost weight and soon after getting to a normal weight his diabetes went into remission. Dr Deanne was so thorough and knowledgeable. I have followed her to Hebron Cat Hospital and so glad I did. This is the BEST place! \r \r I never feel rushed and feel like my boy received the best and most up to date care. I definately recommend this place A+++++++++. more

GREAT Vet!! Excellent Facilities! Highly Recommended! 5/2/2011

I took my sweet Persian girl to see Dr. Deanne and she has a real flat face. She is my adorable little girl. When she breathes through her nose, she wheezes so when she played and ran around she would slow down. \r \r Dr Deanne did surgery on her nose and now she flies through the house like a little terror. No more wheezing. THANK YOU SOOOOO Much! \r \r I highly recommend this place .... Its the best!! more

Very Knowledgeable! Beautiful clinic! 4/17/2011

Took my kitty to see the vet and she immediately noticed his dental condition was serious and quickly referred us to a specialist. We were fortunate to save several of his teeth. \r \r I had been going to another place and we did not get anything accomplished. \r \r I am very happy I found this vet and definately recommend everyone to take their cats here! more

Love this place for CATS! 4/17/2011

I took my Maine Coon to see Dr. Dee and we loved the facility and this vet is GREAT! She was very gentle with my kitty. \r \r Because their focus is on cats they are more gentle and explained the concerns about Maine Coon breed - the vet talked to me about heart issues. \r \r I was unaware about heartworms in Cats and their staff explained how this is possibly fatal. I'm now giving my cats the revolution. \r \r This is a great place where the focus is on cats and they come first! \r \r I recommend Hebron Cat Hospital! Kathy more

Excellent Doctor! This place is AWESOME! 4/16/2011

We brought our kitty in to see Dr Deanne Durham. She was having urine accidents around the house. We took her to another place a few times. The other place gave her antibiotics and it would improve then return and she did not get better. We then saw blood in her urine puddle. \r \r Dr D. ultrasounded her that day and showed us while she was ultrasound . She had a big bladder stone. Dr. D. did xrays and surgery and our little kitty was 100% improved. She is on a special diet to for her bladder. \r \r We love this doctor and the place and will always take our cats there. We definately recommend this place! more

EXCELLENT VET and GREAT building 4/16/2011

This place is AWESOME, I love how its dedicated to cats. We brought our sweet little calico in for not eating. Dr Deanne found her abscess and fixed it. She started eating the same day. Our little girl is back to normal. \r \r The vet was SUPER nice and gentle and all the staff knows how to give special attention to cats. Cats are treated as number 1 and I like that. \r \r We definately recommend Dr Deanne and Hebron Cat Hospital and will definately go back!\r \r more

Moody, unstable vet 11/2/2010

PLEASE do not take your cat there if you want her to be OK. I did, and 5 months of around the clock care and $4000 went down the drain BUT most importantly, my cat became as sick as when she first crashed. I am angry, frustrated, feeling guilty for trusting this vet while my cat is still suffering...\r \r I could write A LOT of things that are wrong with that vet, Deanne Durham, but I will just say this: She prescribed meds WITHOUT explaining the potential side effects, totally dangerous for my cat's underlying condition. When sadly she did suffer from those side effects, I took her in as emergency, vet threw a tantrum, was quite unstable, agitated, threw her arms in the air and gesticulated and lectured me for over 10 minutes!\r When I said that had I known about those side effects I might have not given the meds, but I do not take meds so I don't know, her response was "" I don't take meds either so I don't know!!!"" I could only mustered “Yes, ... but you are ... a vet!""\r \r She also did not explain HOW to administer that med., how time sensitive it was (found out from the tech) and after all that, she did NOT even look at my cat or ask how she was... I was there because my cat was really sick!. At the front desk, surprise! They charged me for exam/consultation, when she did not even look or touch my cat!\r \r I truly feel she caused my cat to relapse since 4 days before taking that med. she was doing extremely well, as proven by blood work and behavior. Now, we are still trying to get her better... although as vet said ""Maybe she is supposed to be lethargic and sleep all day, maybe she was alert b/c she was hypertensive""... I wonder what cats might think of that philosophy?\r more
