Wendy and Kathy were our two main caregivers and they made my mom's last year the most happy and comfortable it could have been. She had pancreatic cancer which is painful and depressing. They cheered her when she was down and supported our entire family. It all the little things that company does that is so beautiful-calling to see how we are, sending a note saying they are thinking of us, the caregivers showing up with bagels for the family, Amy, the Case Manager ANSERING her phone when I had to call at 3:05 am in the morning to tell her mom passed. She got up and was at our house in 45 minutes. I mean, what kind of company DOES things like that anymore? This company should be an example for other homecare agencies to emulate. We used a homecare agency prior to Heavenly Helpers who we thought were ok but they could not help us for last minute requests so we sought out a new homecare agency. We immediatly liked Heavenly Helpers because of the way they talked to me on the phone--listened to my problem, were polite and not pushy, etc. Theanna the owner came out and was so real and down to earth-we bonded immediatly. So we signed up with them. WELL-we have NEVER had service like this. Their caregivers are beyond WORDS--they do things that are above and beyond the call of duty. My wife, whom they care for 24 hours a day, loves them like daughters. I simply cannot say enought about that whole group. The helpers were punctual, caring - all very nice ladies. Mom especially liked Harriet. The office staff always answered the phone, all calls and questions were answered immediately. Just like good old fashioned service used to be! We definitely will use this service if a future need arises. more
