11 Years Later.... 9/18/2010

Toni has been doing my hair since I was 14 years old. Never once had a bad experience with my hair, at the salon or with her staff. It is a very fun and comfortable place to be. Toni is so good that, I asked her to take on my entire wedding party last month, including myself and my mother. All together Toni did 9 amazing updos, in just a few hours. Each and every hair style was different and unique in its own way. She does amazing work and I could not picture going anywhere else but to her. more

By far the best salon!!! 9/3/2010

A freind of mine from worked had recommended me to this place. Her hair came out amazing and I was looking for a new hair salon to go to. She told me to go to her hair dresser but I had read the reviews on here about Toni and how good she was that I figured I would go to her. So I walked into heavenly hairs with the ideas of either getting a trim or chopping my hair off. I told Toni this and she asked what I wanted to do. So I said lets just do it, cut it off, I wanted a bob hair cut. So she asked if I was sure.. and so she did. The receptionist was shocked that I did that but I told her it was just hair I needed a change... Anyways.. Toni did an amazing job and listened to exactly what I wanted! i HIGHLY recommend going to her!! more

Southern Hospitality and More! 9/1/2010

After relocating to North Reading from N.C., I was totally lost as to how to find a great stylist. Well the Angels were looking out for me! After doing a search online and locating Heavenly Hair, I decided to go for it. Toni and her assistant Jodi were absolute Angels and my hair was not only styled, but the color was corrected and finally to my utter delight and total satisfaction. I was never able to get my regular hair stylist to completely understand the style and color I wanted. The most amazing part, was I didn't even have to tell Toni, she just knew what would be best for me. Her attitude made me feel completely at ease to put myself and my hair in her hands. Great Local Salon and Stylist 8/11/2010

I moved to the area one year ago and needed to find a new salon. After my move, I continued to go to my former stylist, but with her now being an hour away, it wasn't exactly practical to keep going. I decided to give a local place a try and learned about Heavenly Hair and Toni through the reviews online. I called and was able to make an appointment with Toni that same day and was so glad I did! Toni was very honest and gave me her professional opinion on what she recommended for a cut and color for my hair and I went for it. I walked away with one of the best cuts and colors I had gotten in years. I will definitely be going back! more

Talented Hair Stylist 8/6/2010

I was concerned about the condition of my hair. My hair color had been changing from blonde to very brassy (orangy) and I had reached the point where I could not stand it anymore. I was concerned that my hair would never improve. Since I had lost confidence in my current hair dresser, I needed to find a new professional. I decided to use the internet and I read about Toni. I have to admit that I was skeptical. I talked directly to Toni on the phone. She was optimistic so I decided to book an appointment. This was one of the best hair care decisions that I have ever made. Toni assessed the condition of my hair and quickly prepared a plan. I left the salon with beautiful, shiny blonde hair. Toni predicted that the color would last 8 weeks. I have to admit that I did not believe her so I booked an appointment for 5 weeks. Well, Toni was RIGHT. I ended up canceling the appointment and returning on the date Toni predicted (8 full weeks later). Toni knows how to cut and color my hair so that it looks healthy and stylish. Toni enjoys what she does and it shows. I know that my search for a talented hair dresser is finally over. more

AMAZING UPDO! 7/27/2010

I went to Heavenly Hair Salon to have Toni do my hair for prom. I went into the salon not sure what I wanted but Toni expertly guided me to choose a style that perfectly complimented both my dress and my style. The updo was detailed and took some time but I was perfectly relaxed in the salon. The interior of the salon is stylish and up to Newbury Street standards. Heavenly Hair Salon is definitely worth the visit especially for special occasion and wedding updos. Since having Toni style my hair, I have since returned and had my hair cut at Heavenly Hair Salon and once again they didn't dissapoint! I love this Salon and look forward to returning....try it! Newbury Street Expertise Without the Attitude 5/19/2010

I made my first appointment with Toni at Heavenly Hair after reading the reviews posted here. I am in my 50's with rapidly graying hair and had not had a professional cut in almost 1 year (I was the victim of an overzealous stylist who left me with very little hair ). My thick overgrown hair was a dull gray and I had hoped to remedy the situation but was concerned that I would leave with a monochromatic look that was harsh and unflattering. I put myself in Toni's hands and was shocked at the beautiful results. My hair is GORGEOUS and shiny with highlights and lowlights and the cut is FANTASTIC. No middle aged, severe, overprocessed look here! My look is contemporary but age appropriate and for the first time in a year it is healthy and shiny. If you want someone who knows their stuff, see Toni at Heavenly Hair. This place is friendly and down to earth and I got a lovely manicure from Katelyn while I waited. Keratin Treatment 4/28/2010

A year ago when Toni told me she had been certified in the Brazilian Keratin Treatment and this treatment was created for my type of hair, I should have listened! No matter the product or time spent on my hair on a day with any moisture or humidity in the air I would end up with what can only be described as a Brillo pad on top of my head!!! I was concerned about trying anything new, but mostly couldn't imagine not washing my hair for four days. Recently the process has changed and Toni told me I would not have to wait four days and would leave the salon with my hair washed and blown dry. It was the BEST thing I've ever done for my hair. It's smooth and manageable, but yet still has plenty of body. In addition, it takes only a few minutes to blow it dry and with much less product than before. Pros: Best thing I ever did! more

Hidden gem for hair, nails, etc 3/5/2010

I moved to Boston from New York about 3 years ago and I needed a salon I tried several even went to newbury street. I loved every salon i went to in NY and I never found anyone that I was satisfied with until now. I originally was very nervous but once i walked in there i knew i'd be happy it was decorated very trendy and stylish and the receptionist greeted me righ away.\r I get my hair cut and colored by Toni who is the owner of the salon. She is great i always walk out of there happy. The other hair dressers are very nice and attentive as well. I see all there clients walk out of there smiling. The only down fall is you cant see it from main street and people don't know its there but i promise once you walk in you will love it! Pros: Friendly atomosphere with great hair dressers Cons: The only Con is it's hidden in a building and not visible more

Marisa;Amazing, Talented and Caring Hairdresser 2/1/2010

I went from being a long haired blonde to mauve/orange color hair that was short and uneven from all the bleaching; few bad experiences at my old hairdresser's were enough to give me a chemical hair cut and ruin my hair. I came to Marisa desperate to go back to blonde, without becoming bald in the process. Literally , the first time that Marisa ever did my hair, my hair was already visibly blonder ; the mauve shades were finally disappearing. The haircut that I got was very Posh Spice like and trendy and I was immediately able to feel excited about my hairdo ( something that I had not been able to do in a long time). Marisa nurtured my hair back to life: I now have my long, blonde hair back ;the process of getting it there was fun and filled with great shorter hair styles. Marisa is always more than attentive; Heavenly Hair Salon is always very welcoming and , I must say, that every time that I visit them all of the clients that are there at the same time as I am have a smile on their faces- a true testament of the overall talent of every single hairdresser there. Best Salon in the North Reading area! 2/1/2010

Heavenly Hair Salon in North Reading has been one of my favorite salons for the past few years now...From the building that it's located in, it hardly looks like anything special, or something that you would just drive by and want to try, but believe me, TRY IT! The salon has a modest-glamorous decor, and the stylists are all amazing! There is always a fun, happy vibe when you walk in, and my hair always looks fabulous when I walk out! Marisa has been my stylist for years and I love her! She's amazing with color, cuts, updos, and even extensions! But on days when she's not in, she always leaves me in perfectly capable hands! From Kelly, to Jen, to Kate, they've all done an amazing job! And Toni, the Salon owner, is a riot! You can tell that her clients love her, and she remembers everyones name who walks in! It's great! I have been going to Toni for a long time. I have tried multiple hair dressers and have always had to go back to Toni to fix my hair. I love my cut and color! I will never go anyway where else again. =) Pros: people, parking and atmosphere more

Love My Hair!!!! 10/20/2009

My friends and family call me a hair snob because I am extremely picky about my hair. I have been bouncing around from hair salons for years and I have been unable to find a hairdresser that is great at color and cuts, they are always good at one or the other...or neither! I am a salon manager at Elizabeth Grady and I need to look good at all times, we are a business in the beauty industry. I went to Toni on Saturday and I was hating my cut and color before I got there. Toni turned my over beached blonde hair into a beautiful two toned blonde by using low lights and high lights. She transformed my horrible un-even bob to a gorgeous, wonderfully shaped cut!!!! I love left absolutely loving my hair!!!!! I had a family party that night and everyone was complimenting me on how great my hair looked. So if you you want to look gorgeous and only want to have to go to one place for a great color and cut I highly recommend you go to Toni at Heavenly Hair Salon. Great haircut, walk in 8/23/2009

I was in from out of town visiting family and needed a haricut. I heard about Heavenly Hair Salon from my family and was able to get an appointment with Toni for the same day. Toni did a great job with my hair and the hair style. I have short hair that needs to be textured correctly to look right. I am thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend the salon and Toni in particular. more

Wonderful Salon 7/24/2009

I luckily found Heavenly Hair about 6 monthS ago...and will never go anywhere else as long as I live in the area. Toni and her staff are the best. I have had trouble getting the look and the color I've wanted for a long time. Toni and I discussed my options and the results I was looking for...and she nailed it. Went here recently and had a wonderful experience. I got a cut and a highlight and love it. I came in with a picture of how I wanted the color and style and they basically replicated it. Never Again!!!!!!!!! 6/7/2009

I went toToni for a simple cut and color. I was there\r for 3 hours. She had 3 other customers also. She gave\r her customers no time what so ever. My color came\r out awful and the cut was just as bad. All the hairdressers talked about was lunch and kept leaving there customers to eat. Very bad scheduling !! Toni gave me no time at all and never even said bye. Left\r there spending $165 for a color,cut and some products that I hate. Left a message to discuss my unhappyness\r and never received a call back. Cons: Very expensive more
