I have looked for over 10 years for the right esthetician and finally found her in Heather Johnson. My skin looks better than I could have ever imagined. What is the best thing she did? She listened. She asked questions. She made excellent, helpful suggestions. I did the Love My Skin facial with microdermabrasion followed by the ultrasound. Amazing combo. I got compliments for days and my new homecare routine is maintaining them. She gets booked far in advance, but it is so worth the wait. I am on her calander every month through 2008! No more foundation or cover-ups! 9/8/2007

I am 63 years old and have worn foundation, etc. for 40 some years. After regular facials at Heather Johnson studios my skin looks so good I no longer need to use foundation. My beauty routine is so simple now! Heather's facials must do some sort of magic on my skin, and I absolutely love her products. The Valmont DNA Serum is one skin care product I can't do without. I buy two at a time, so I will never, ever run out. I use the cleanser, exfoliator, eye cream, moisturizers, and more, and love all of them. Heather also has a wonderfully relaxing technique, and she really listens to your skin care concerns. Kristen more

I've had skin issues all my life. Heather Johnson solves my problems and makes it a luxurious experience. I love how I look a week later. Heather is the essence of professionalism. I've been to a lot of skin care professionals, and she is far an away the best, no close second. She knows everthing about the science of skin and tailors her recommendations to your unique complexion. Thank goodness I found her. Pros: Ambience, beauty, sweet woman Cons: must make long commute, but it's worth it more

Wonderful facial 4/23/2006

Although it's a bit repetitive, I have to put in my own two cents about Heather Johnson Studios. The facial I had was the most relaxing ever, and my skin looked fantastic afterwards for days. Heather also helped me with products I could use at home to keep my skin hydrated and glowing. Heather was incredibly nice to work with, friendly, and able to answer all my questions. First Waxing & Facial Experience 2/15/2006

This was my first bikini wax and Heather made it simple. She was very professional and friendly. She explained everything before she started and the entire process was quick. It wasn't pain free, but it was significantly less painful than I had expected. The space was easy to find, comforting and smelled good. I would recommend Heather Johnson Studios if you are looking for a place to get a waxing. I think that I'll try her facial services next! (Update: The facial was fabulous. My skin is smooth and soft. Great skincare in a relaxing atmosphere! 9/17/2005

Heather Johnson Studios has been wonderful to work with. The skin care treatments are refreshing. Products and equipment are top of the line. I leave each session feeling that my skin is fresh and glowing. Heather's knowledge has also assisted me in establishing an at home routine that helps me maintain that healthy look until my next visit. more

After years of skin troubles, I never thought I'd enjoy (let alone look forward to) anything being done to my face. After my first facial with Heather, I was hooked! How could such an in-depth cleansing actually feel so relaxing? Heather has mastered it and is the expert! Heather is extremely knowledgeable and tailors my facials to my ever changing skin needs. So refreshing after many years of ""routine facials"" from other estheticians! My skin has never looked nor felt better. The whole experience from entering the quaint spa, to the facial ""massage"" and ending with fantastic products is something you've got to try.....it will make your day and keep you coming back for more! I was never a believer in facials, but after I received a gift of a facial with Heather Johnson, I became a convert! She is very educated about skin care and waxing. She is very meticulous and I feel comfortable that she is very hygenic. She has also introduced me to some fabulous skin care products that allow me to maintain the results from my facials. Also, if you need waxing, she is very good and can wax virtually any body part. more

Facials- not just for women any more 9/7/2005

My wife made me do it. I whined the whole drive there. But Heather's facial was far better than any back massage I've ever gotten. Maybe I store tension in my face. Absolutely worth it. Then that weekend I was visitting a women friend, and she kept staring at my face. It made me nervous. Suddenly she said, ""You look ... younger or something."" I swear to God. Hands down, the BEST facial I have ever had. 9/5/2005

My skin seriously needed help and it finally recieved it. Countless estheticians have been unable to help me with my concerns. Heather conducted a detailed history, listened to my concerns and recommended products specific to my needs. I felt heard, pampered, and helped. I have had facials at several world class spas and this adorable place in Rockridge will be the only place I will ever go for skin care. Also, my eyebrow waxing looked Fantastic.
