Heartland Of Columbia Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

I am still learning about Heartland; however, what I have seen and experienced were somewhat ok. I do not like the security system at night and my mother did not have a bed/pressure sore on her when she arrived. Her skin was perfect! Three weeks later we are dealing with treating a bed sore. My mother is unable to move and they need to turn her often, which I found to not be the case. But...it is just three weeks and we are all learning one another so I will be there this week to see what is going on for myself and to meet with staff. Thanks for the heads up about Carmel more

even tho we got off to a rocky start with my mom, I have a few thank yous i would like to express. 1. Latoya, first front...Bonnie, first front....Rosaland, social worker, and let's not forget the head nurse of that floor. We all got off to a rockey start. However, I can honestly say these people cared about my mom. They, unlike Carmal, didn't lie to me. Carmal flat lied. She also saw to it my mom was put into a "rest home" that ultimatly caused her another stroke...\r Please make sure these people that work off of pinehurst are thanked. Bonnie was the first, the others followed suit...Dr George? Thank you for keeping her coming around. She had another stroke at twilight. They did not have a nurse on staff. did not give her her nitro correctly and that resulted in another stroke...My mom is passing away here at home...But as I said, we got off to a rockey start? In the end? Except for Carmal, It was great. All of you cared. Ty from my heart. more

Heartland Of Columbia have a very compasionate staff that is friendly and willing to help you when you go to visit a love one. I was impressed at how they knew exactly where to send me when I arrived. They give you privacy and answer all of your questions. They offer a warm and caring environment. more
