We love Sugar Springs and attend many events at The Hearth because it is a great place to hang out on the patio and have a few drinks after a round of golf. The bar and restaurant are very smoky . The decor is stuck in the 1970's when Sugar Springs was in its heyday. Think dark dirty wood paneling and chairs. The food is generally frozen, then fried. You can't go wrong with a burger and beer outside. Pros: Convenient location on patio next to great golf course Cons: Fried and Frozen Food more

The Hearth - A change for the better 1/30/2006

The Hearth is the new name for the Sugar Springs Restaurant, which has been in operation more than 30 years. In the not-to-distant past there were some PR issues, but this is changing for the better. Food here has the quality you would expect to pay at least half as much again for (and the locals have realized this and appreciate it with greater numbers visiting regularly). I would advise calling ahead for reservations. Pros: great food Cons: limited seating more
