I am so happy to be a patient at Health & Wellness! Every time I call them, they are pleasant and helpful...no matter how silly or tiny my question may be! Most doctors offices make you wait FOREVER on the phone, you know? But not here! At Health & Wellness, my calls are always answered quickly! Or, if they are unavailable, and I have to leave a message? Well, these wonderful folks actually call back! They make sure that my questions are answered and my problems solved! I can honestly say that these people have my back. And THAT is how you should feel with a doctors office, like you are safe, respected, and cared for! Lately, when I call, a lovely woman named Makuta has been answering all my questions. She has helped me schedule appointments and answered questions regarding my prior auth, too. She is always sweet and understanding and helps me get to the bottom of things...even when the office is so busy. I appreciate that so much. I'm glad she works at my Dr. Office! But, to be honest, I pretty much appreciate everyone there....it's just an awesome Office full of awesome people! And THAT makes my recovery so much smoother and easier. Thanks to everyone at Health and Wellness, including Ms. Makuta!!!! more

Estelle is a newer member of the Health and Wellness family...but she is already catching on to the flow of everything VERY WELL! She is efficient, polite, and always respectful. It is scary sometimes to go to a clinic that treats patients with addiction problems because I worry that the staff may look down on me or treat me as "less than". BUT at Health and Wellness that has NEVER been an issue!!! They treat me like one of their own family members. And I feel like we all ARE one big family now! They are all part of my RECOVERY FAMILY! And Estelle is one of my sisters now! She is the first person I see when I walk in and she always offers me a smile and a happy welcome. I have seen her take some serious verbal abuse from belligerent clients in the past, people who are still deep in their addiction, and she is so calm and collected in those moments. She still aims to help these people. She is quiet and soft spoken and kind. I always look forward to seeing her face! I am glad she joined the staff at Health and Wellness...and I'm glad she has become a part of my Personal Recovery. more
