When our credit union merged with HCFCU, they gave us all $50 to meet their minimum balance requirements, whether we had the minimum met or not. (Free money!) If you are a member with any type of balance and a job, you are pretty much guaranteed a loan, whether it be a car loan or personal loan. The employees are friendly, offer polite greetings and seem genuinely happy to help in any way that they can. You can use any of the local credit unions ATM's free of charge, so that's a bonus and the interest rates they offer on their automobile loans and credit cards make them the best choice for banking in the St. Louis area. more
