Hayashi Sushi

Overall a very poor experience, most basic sushi,tasteless and very expensive and it wasnt exactly fresh. Waitress was very pushy to get us out the door. I think the dinner lasted 15 minutes $50 later out the door. I had sushi combination.My wife had a teyakibowl ,she did not enjoy that either.Sushi entree came before appetizer lol. Sorry but we wont be back. more

So we start off great, nice place, nice waitress, we order still good, food starts arriving, nice timely fashion, but wait there should be 7 gyoza for $5.95, not 5. ok no big deal, but then.. we ordered 2 seperate orders of chicken katsu & the chicken IS RAW!!!! then to top it off as we go to feed the baby & dump the rice bowl upside down there is a long black hair!! SERIOUSLY?!! so we send it back, & the waitress says : i have a question, now was the hair already there or..? did she really just suggest that we put it there ourselves? OMG... & to top it off they didn't comp anything!! how are you going to serve RAW chicken? rice with hair? & still bill us for it all??? worst place ever, NEVER going back! such a disappointment, & its expensive, dont bother with this place, better food at Sushiya for a better price!!! more

I've never had a bad experience here. The food is delicious and the service is great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good Dragon Roll or Crazy Irish Man! Pros: Delicious Rolls more

My dinner experience here was absolutely amazing! Wonderful food, excellent service, probably my favorite sushi restaurant ever...I met the general manager, he was such a nice guy. Management has done a good job of making this place into a quality restaurant. The food has improved a LOT since when it first opened. Friendly waitstaff and nice ambiance. I love the fact that they have rooms that accommodate parties. Pros: Fresh fish and unique rolls Cons: It's in Escondido more
