They installed a chip seal driveway at my home. Tar bled through the rocks everywhere, a sure sign they used too much liquid asphalt & not enough gravel, discoloring & ruining the surface of the riverstone. And when it gets hot, the exposed tar will be a sticky, tacky mess! They also got tar all over my house, the decorative concrete patio and walkway I'd paid $6000 for the previous year, my bricks and my plants. It's like they just sprayed asphalt here, there and everywhere without bothering to protect anything before they did it. Twice they claimed they'd be out to clean it up and didn't show up either time. Thank God I had not yet paid them, because I had to threaten to withhold paying them until they cleaned the tar off at least my house and the decorative concrete! And the powerwasher they used to get the tar off the bricks on my 100-year old home damaged the mortar. Wish I'd read their bad internet reviews & 5 Better Business Bureau complaints BEFORE contracting them. Wish I'd headed the advice of the other asphalt company in town that does chip seal for highways when they stated they would NOT refer me to them. Beware!
