HVM is NOT another dull and lifeless video company. We feel like we are watching some movie studio???s version of our daughter???s wedding; the quality is that good. Hawaii Video Memories have preserved more than a memory; they have captured an essence of the day; something that is so hard to do on film. We relive the moment each time we view it. Hawaii Video Memories is AWSOME!!! My husband and I got married in Hawaii in September of 2011 and used Ryssa as our vidiographer and she was great. We went through a wedding coordinator and she recommended Hawaii Video Memories to us so we knew they must be good. The experiance with Ryssa was excellent. If we had any questions through out the process she would get back to us asap via email. She was on time the day of our wedding and even stayed late to capture some last min little details. About two months after our wedding we received our wedding video and could not beleive the quality even down to the case it came in!! She captured the most important and most memorable moments. Her editing was impecable!!! All we can say is thank you Ryssa we now can relive our wedding over and over again thanks to you!!!!!! Sunny and Ryan more

I would HIGHLY recommend Hawaii Video Memories! First of all, Todd was a pleasure to work with. He was very nice, incredibly professional, and clearly has a great eye for capturing an event. I knew the day of our wedding that our video would be something truly special. But when it arrived in the mail and we popped it in to watch...I literally cried tears of joy! The video is amazing. Anyone who was at the wedding who has seen the video has said the same thing: ""Where was he?!?!?"" Because the day of the event...he was almost invisible. But clearly he was right in the middle of everything!! THANK YOU HAWAII VIDEO MEMORIES!!! more

We had a last minute custom video that had to be created and Todd was extremely efficient in taking what we had and created something better than we expected. He was fast and knew exactly what he had to do to get the job done. Honest, reliable and reasonably priced for the quality we received (we priced others so we knew what it should cost). Would highly recommend. more

I have worked with Hawaii Video Memories for the past 5 years. As a wedding coordinator on the island of Maui, Hawaii Video Memories has serviced hundreds of my past clients. Their product has no rival on the island of Maui. All I can say is they are the best in Hawaii by far, and I have yet to find mainland companies that offer the quality that they offer, at the price that they charge. They are always extremely helpful to my clients when we are planning their services in advance and are never too busy to have a meeting or phone conversation to answer any questions that I, or my clients might have. Their presence on-site at the weddings is always professional and they are not invasive at all, allowing my clients to be able to enjoy their special day. On top of it all, the staff at Hawaii Video Memories are all so personable and really go the extra mile to make clients feel comfortable. In the very rare occasions where there has been an issue with a client (there have been 2 very minor issues over the past 5 years), Hawaii Video Memories has always been accommodating and professional, giving immediate attention and righting the problems with no additional cost to my clients. In reference to another not-so-positive review, one of those issues involved incorrect spelling of a name, in which Hawaii Video Memories corrected immediately at no additional cost to my clients. They handled it in the most professional manner that they could have, and both my client and I were extremely pleased with the outcome. Their website is clear in their pricing and there are never any hidden fees. They even have a client log-in page in which clients can sign in and post information, double check spelling and booking details, etc. They are wonderful to work with and we are lucky to have a service like this on our wonderful island. These people will lie cheat and steal your money! I have emails listing completely different pricing - off by over a thousand dollars. Both stating the price as the ""standard"". The company president is the worst! I have email documentation of fraudulent pricing. He was rude and completely offensive. It's sad to run across people like these when you're trying to plan your wedding. It just reminds me that not everyone has a moral compass. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Pros: none! I had to send my video back 3 times to have edited... Once because there were words misspelled, another because there were 5 second random blackouts in the video, and another because there was repeated scenes.. The quality of the video is grainy, even when viewed on a small screen.. They don't seem to take the time to edit your video even though it took them 5 months to send it to me, it was obviously thrown together in a day.. The mistakes in our video are VERY obvious to anyone and I cant believe that for how much they charge they can't even watch the finished product before sending it out to you.. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and quite frankly I cant even believe they are still in business.. more
