The dal tadka was a little watery but all-right. The grilled fish I ordered was one of the best fish dishes I've eaten in years, and the aloo gobi was better-than-average. The delivery fees and tips made this a bit more than I'd usually expect to pay for Indian food, but it was worth it. (If you're wondering why I rated three dishes, I ordered a lot and saved the leftovers because they have a $30 minimum for delivery.) more

The food here is usually excellent, but I want to provide a word of caution about one dish. I tried goat vindaloo last time I ordered from here, and whoever made it needs serious practice at both preparing and cooking goat. The meat was unevenly cooked -- some beautifully tender, some tough and stringy -- and contained irregular shards of bone and blobs of unpalatable fat. more

Unlike most places around here, it does seem to take the full estimated delivery time (around an hour last time for us). But it's totally worth the wait. The food comes well-seasoned: a bit spicier than your average american-ized Indian fare, though that's a good thing in our book. And the cheese and onion naan is to die for. more
