I have been to Havana House on two occasions and I enjoyed both times. They have a live band playing. The first time they were playing contemp. rock and the second time they had a salsa band. It was great on both occasions. I highly reccomend this place to people who smoke or those who don't mind the smoke. Great place to meet people. you have got to order a bay of pigs when you go... great on tuesdays.. what really sucks is you have to practically grab the waitresses by the arm order and walk her back to the bar to make sure they got your drink. and they take for-ever!! and sometimes they "forget" your change. or they don't have quarters.. Every Wednesday and Sunday is the day to be!!! They have good service every single day, but Wednesday's and Sunday's are the best. The DJ that plays Weds nights plays very original, and the bands on Sun. are great!!! Even thou the bar gets crowded, dont worry you will get your drink!!If you are looking for a place that will make you feel comfortable, Havana House it is!!! What an amazing find for all who smoke cigars in Los Angeles! Nice walk-in with a lightly appointed shop. Busy bar and comfy patio seating. Live DJ, live bands, at various times during the week. Call to reserve a table if you plan on getting there after 8pm. Alot better than smoking in the backyard! And if you want eats then you can order from a couple restaurants down or across the street and they'll bring it to you. Pros: Cigars, free parking, you can smoke! The Last Place in L.A. to relax and have a Fine Cigar and a liquid Livation. The Atmosphere is Quaint and the service excellent. No Food but two close by resturants will deliver. They have a Very nicely Stocked Humidor and the Prices are reasonable. The owners and management are accomodating and friendly. A definite draw to the smokers who would like to enjoy the enviroment of a lounge with the ability to smoke their cigars. The place has no real menu, as they order their food from Charlie's Trio down the block, but they deliver to the Havana House. Drinks are good, service is decent and enviroment is awesome! more
