First place I veered tried pastrami and is still one of the best places to get pastrami. Huge portions. Come here with a few friends an order their pastrami sandwich and chili fries (add pastrami if your really hungry). Great place, fast service, and they serve Orange Bang! more

The food is greasy, but it's so worth the upcoming heartattack. It's the best chili cheese fries, especially for the price. There's always a crowd, so that's got to speak for itself. The wet fries (fries topped with gravy) is decent. The sandwiches are pretty good too. I need to stop by soon, thinking about the chili cheese fries is making my mouth water! Bad food meaning, you know nutritionally its bad, but MAN!!! ITS SOOOO GOOD!! I see a lot people know them for pastrami or for great chili fries. My family and I go for the whole shebang, we order chili cheese pastrami fries! The only thin we need after that is something to drink and someone to drive....VERY satisfying. Cons: I would prefer to access the facilities from inside the restaurant as appossed to them being accessed on the outside of the building. more

I don't think that I have ever had chili fries better than here! They come in a pretty big tray, the only size, and you can order them with cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and even pastrami. These are definitely not to be eaten by yourself. Pretty much everything that pastrami touches in this place is worth the heartburn. Not only do they have sandwiches, they have pastrami burgers too. It's even a great place for cold sandwiches and whatever you order, you have to wash it down with a cherry coke. Pros: fast service, good portions, good hours more

I have loved these sandwiches since 1998. The slices of paper-thin pastrami piled high in a roll is simplistic, yet powerful enough to make you want to stop and buy one. I think KROQ's morning show had someone broadcast from here a few years back. From morning to night you can be sure to see at least a few people waiting at the corner for thier sandwiches. I have yet to try anything but the pastrami dip, though. They taste even better when accompanied by the hot peppers they have. Sometimes I mean to try something new, but just seeing one makes me hungry enough to give up my resolve. They cost a little over $6 I think and the one I went to was at the intersection of Garfield and Valley right off the Garfield Ave. exit off the 10 fwy into Alhambra.
