Hastings Books

Hastings is by far my favorite store in Auburn. I'm almost putting off moving just because I'll miss it! They have books, movies, video games, cds, games, software, religious paraphernalia, candy, t-shirts, guitar equipment and more. The best part of Hastings is their prices. They have low prices already but they also sell their rentals and used things for even greater discounts. They are constantly running buy one get one half proce, or buy two get one for a penny deals on used rentals and trade-ins. Hastings even has used books! There is a bargain book section that has some great deals. more

Want to rent a movie, game, or book on tape? Then Hastings should be your first stop. With a huge selection of titles to choose from there is a good chance they will have what you are looking for. For DVD's, they have a great selection of hard to find international titles, including those from Criterion. Want to rent Seven Samari, then Hastings is about the only place you can find it. Want to rent a book on tape for a road trip, then this is the only retail outlet I know of in the area to do that. They also have a great selection of CD's and books. However, one of the greatest things is that you can trade or sell your used DVD's or CD's to them. Then receive store credit or cash. There is also a pretty decent discount when you then buy other used discs. The staff are all friendly and pretty knowledgable in their respective departments. They also have book signings every now and then. Be sure to keep an eye open on their specials such as buy two get one for $0.01 day. more

It is one of the best video rental stores in the area, they even have some great promotions, a while ago, they had a free coupon that simply wipes all the rental late fees. They sell pre-viewed movies for decent prices. They also have a good collection of books and electronics. Good location, large parking lot. more

It is a big bookstore in Auburn. It is located near Kroger, CVS and some restaurants. You can find all kinds of books, magazines, DVD and videos there.They even sell some Japanese comic books and cartoon videos. They provide readers comfortable sofas to sit on. No one will interrupt you. Their clerks are very friendly. I like it very much. more
