Harvard Cooperative

As far as bookstores go, this one has a pretty extensive selection. It is located right in the center of Harvard Square and is easy to spot right when you leave the main exit of the T. There are three floors in the store, all kinds of books, magazines and even a little food (like a snack café)! This is the bookstore that carries the books for Harvard Students, but this happens in a different section of the store. There is also another section of the store that carries Harvard memorabilia. If you are a Harvard Student, you can join the Coop and get a percentage of your purchases back in a check at the end of the year, which is pretty cool. They always have everything I am looking for, but I always expect to pay a lot for that luxury! Enjoy! more

For the size of Harvard Square, the COOP is a gigantic store. It is conveniently located to Harvard Square. Prices are decent, not cheap. You can pick up all sorts of things and a lot of Harvard gear. This is a good place to pick up some Harvard gear since there is always some sale going on. Become a COOP member, and you get a decent sized discount. more
