Would think twice 12/3/2009

Good: Has always been kind and courteous. Used to have an office manager that was the best and very good at what she did. She retired a few years ago.. Bad: New office staff does not follow through with requests. Asked for a copy of my policy and was told 1 month wait. Called back 4 weeks and they had no record of it being ordered. Now we wait 3 more weeks. Recommended Service Master for disaster restoration. SM had poor communication within their company which resulted in poor customer service to me. SM is NOT a recommended contractor by State Farm corporate as of 11/2009.. Improvements: Agent should not recommend contractors to people. Office staff should be held accountable for what they promise.. more

Steve Harty with State Farm Insurance is a fantastic insurance man. He is kind, knowledgeable, and courteous, as are all the people working in his office. They do not hesitate to take the time to explain things throughly to you, and do not make you feel inadequate if you have to ask additional questions.
