Dr. Hart is very precise, professional, and thorough. He clearly cares very much about his practice and patients. I sometimes am afraid of dentists not because of the pain, but because they often try to upsell you to things like whitening. Dr. Hart is extremely honest, and did not suggest anything beyond what was best for my teeth, which turned out to be a very minor but necessary procedure-- I expected much worse, having not been to a dentist in two years. I agree wholeheartedly with AJE below. I had almost the EXACT same treatment. I did not get the results I wanted, and I felt like I was just rushed in and out all the time. No one really seemed to care if I was happy or not. On top of that, this place has SUCH a creepy vibe... I can't really explain it. I wouldn't recommend it though. And PS-- take a look at the reviews written here and notice the similarities in usernames, poor grammar, regularity of dates posted, etc. Lets just say that the majority of people that work at Dr. Hart's ofice do not speak english as a first language, and I just would not be surprised if many of these reviews were written by them. My dental experience was awesome. I had 6 implants placed in my mouth. Dr. Hart was very understanding and professional. I did not feel any pain. He works fast and confident. Very recommend him to everybody. Staff was very nice and accomodating. I wish I found this office years ago so I could save at least some of my teeth. I relocated to Boston from Connecticut for work about a year ago and was looking for a dentist for a painful toothache I had. It turned out I needed a root canal and crown and I am really glad I found Dr. Hart. He placed a crown in an upper right tooth that blends in with my other teeth and looks and feels totally natural. I chew just as well with it too. I had a crown placed in a lower left tooth a while back by a dentist back home and he was nowhere near as good as Dr. Hart. The metal part of his crown sticks out and is so unsightly that I am thinking of having Dr. Hart replace that tooth as well. I really appreciate how natural looking Dr. Hart's work is. I went to Dr. Hart to get invisalign (my treatment ended a few months ago). Everyone there was extremely nice and accommodating while I was considering them... with the initial appointment the service was excellent and the receptionist and nurses were great. Then, the moment I had paid for their services... no more extra friendly communication, no more visits with Dr. Hart... nothing! In fact, the entire time I was a patient there, which was about a year and a half, I only saw Dr. Hart three times! The rest of my visits were with the nurses/dental technicians/whoever was there that wasn't Dr. Hart (most of these people were always very friendly and provided good service). When I initially was through with all my aligners, they had not moved my teeth the way they were supposed to (according to my original treatment plan). At my ending appointment, I wasn't even automatically booked with Dr. Hart in order to discuss any problems/questions/treatment results. I basically came in, they took pictures and then said I could leave. When I said that my treatment wasn't satisfactory, they scheduled me an additional appointment with Dr. Hart. I did get additional treatment (more aligners), which was better but also not completely satisfactory. At the last appointment for these aligners, I was given the same treatment... in, take pictures, leave. No discussion with Dr. Hart. At this point I was so frustrated I just left and will get treatment elsewhere. I would not recommend this place, mostly because once you pay you are not treated as an individual, they just want to move you in and out as fast as possible and are not concerned with your personal results. They want your money and that's it. I wish I had found a place that offered more personal and friendly service, and somewhere that made me feel like the quality of my results and my satisfaction were important to them. Honestly, I did not expect such a great experience. I have never liked dentist. But after Dr. Hart treated me I realised that a dentist can be very good. I give Dr. Hart 5 stars. He is very professional, caring and knowledgeable dentist.\r Dr. Hart is like an artist works on every detail and make sure that you are 100% satisfied with the outcome. I do highly recommend this doctor and his office for everyone. By the way, they do everything possible in dental field there. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Hart and was very surprised (despite all the scary stories I was told before) that it is so realistic to have them done without any pain and ""horror"". I would like to thank Dr Hart for the best service I have ever had in my life. I am in my late thirties and do not have the best hygine. My teeth were total mess. To my surprize he managed to save every single tooth in my mouth without any pain. I was very comfortable during appointments and now I feel good about myself. I do recommend Dr. Hart to everyone. Please do yourself a favor and get a second opinion immediately when they tell you you need excessive work done on your teeth and hand you a huge bill. \r \r After telling me I needed one filling on my first visit, I arrived for the filling a week later only to be handed a bill for over $3000 which stated I needed 2 crowns. When I asked what was going on, the dentist told me I actually needed 4 crowns (all of this while I was in the chair, by the way). It goes on and on and gets more and more shady - they then said my last dentist ""can't see what I can see"", that I lost a filling-then the story changed that I didn't lose a filling, and then proceeded to tell me when other patients didn't listen to him their teeth cracked and fell out. This is a huge scam in my opinion - please use caution.\r \r My result - got a second opinion, which stated I needed one filling replaced...not urgently. They could not find any idea why I would have been told I needed ANY crowns, let alone 4. \r \r I do not know if my situation is isolated or if this happens all of the time. My advice - be careful!!! I have had Dr. Hart do a lot of dental work on me and I am very pleased with the results, so much so that I decided to write this review, something I don't normally do. I had two upper impacted molar wisdom teeth removed and was amazed at how comfortable I felt afterwards. I had an implant placed in my upper right where I was missing a tooth and no longer feel self-conscious about laughing too wide of a smile. Lastly, I had lumineers placed on six of my front teeth so I have the perfect white smile now. Dr. Hart is a great cosmetic dentist. more

I really recommend Dr. Hart for surgical procedures because he does the best work I have seen so far. I had been wearing dentures and had only two teeth left, so I had a full reconstruction of implants placed in my mouth. Not only do I look and feel better and eat food I have not eaten in years, but people really notice my new teeth and compliment me all the time on how I much younger I look. I had a molar root canal retreat done by Dr. Hart because my prior dentist had screwed it up and I am no longer in excruciating pain. I also opted to have an implant placed where I had a missing tooth instead of a bridge and I have not had any problems with that since either. The implant looks and functions just like my natural teeth. I have recommended Dr. Hart to many friends and family members who are looking for a great local dentist. I am really happy that I finally found a competent dentist that I can go to. more

Implants done for a friend of mine at this office were checked by a licensed periodontist who said the work was below standard. Fees for services done are well above what they should be considering the quality of work and if you mention financing, the air in the office turns ice cold. Avoid this guy and go to a specialist who knows what they're doing. more

I intially went to see Dr. Hart to see what I can do about my two front chipped teeth that had been bothering me for years. He explained some cosmetic options that were available to correct the problem and then took some photographs to make a a before and after simulation of what my teeth like like now and what they would look like after the proposed changes. I was really happy wiht the after photo simulation and decided to have two venners placed on my teeth. The procedure took less than twenty minutes and I did not feel a thing. I get really nervous when I am in a dental office so I took advantatge of the sedation dentistry available. I was amazed at how relaxed I felt. My front teeth are straight and uniform now and match the rest of my teeth. I am currently having implants placed in my mouth to replace a few missing teeth and I also have not had any pain associated with that either. The results so far look really nice and natural too. I chew food a lot better as well. Implants are expensive but I was able to set up an interest free payment plan and my medical insurance helped offset some of the cost too, which was a really nice suprise. If you are planning on having dental work done, explore the financing options available. It can be more affordable than you might think. I highly recommend Dr. Hart to do any kind of dental work. He is very talented and intelegent.\r I was treated very nicely. I initially went to see Dr. Hart because I had gaps between my teeth, and was especially bothered by a large gap between my two front teeth. I decided to have Invisalign braces and a year later, I am really happy with the results. The gaps between my teeth are completely gone and I love my new smile.
