Harrys True Value Hardware

I think BusterC is a Harry's employee. That is the attitude Harry uses with customers. I have never been treated as poorly than I was at Harry's. they are rude and unhelpful. They are insulting and arrogant much like BUSTERC.\r \r If you want to support local small business as I do try Elliott's Ace or Puhls True Value. Those stores know how to help a customer and great them with respect.\r \r Harry's is HORRIBLE! more

We like to patronize Harry's because it is a locally owned and run business. They are ALWAYS more than helpful and will go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. We'll continue to be loyal customers!!\r \r By the way...I whole heartedly agree with buster C!! more

Harry's TV has done me very well! Cut plywood and PVC materials for no charge very helpful. Were picky about the return of steam cleaner stuff though, but no sweat . These people are committed business owners! Unlike PAULM154.... Who's apparently SIMPLE JACK wife and HE cannot simply manage getting 2 simple screws into their simple home with having THE WORLD holding their soft hands to do so. Ahh how simple the world we live in. Then JYLNE... diss's them on the warm, personal , cozy level... Diss's them because she repeatedly expects ultimate fulfillment when she repeatedly goes to the hardware store?? Jeez, its not a cafe..its where idiot customers fail to purchase simple screws with out the world holding their hands!!! Plan! Get info before you involve the people at the hardware store. My wife goes to the store to simply get two screws, She had to pull teeth to get someone at the front counter to help....too busy talking to each other. Then stood by that department, no one came back....finally she just left. The few times we have been there the service sucks! more

Rented a steam cleaner that did not work. I could not take it back since the store was closed so I had to wait until the next day. I took it back after work and they asked why I did not call first thing in the morning or bring it in assuming I was lying and had used it. The owner said that it was dirty so it must have worked. Water did not come out of the machine. I read and re-read the directions and tried with a friend for almost three hours. When I took it back in they would not give me another machine unless I paid for another rental and they complained the machine was dirty. They have THE WORST customer service. I did not like going to the big name stores (Menards) but since they have the best customer service and prices I will never go back to Harrys True Value in Franklin. more

I've had several occasions to go into this store and each time it's been a disappointing experience. Although it does seem they have regular customers that are treated well, I have never been greeted with a friendly 'hello' nor asked if I can be helped. I tried to get information today on a product and the cashier was not interested in helping me nor did she offer to find someone else to, so I put the item down and walked out. Obviously my business is not appreciated and I'll gladly drive a few extra blocks to a big box store to get better service. Really too bad. I would think in this economy that Harry would insist on better customer service, however Harry seems to set the tone and has been flip and rude to me in the past. Won't go back..
