Early on a Friday evening we headed over here. Three friends ate at the bar, two joined later. By the time the two additional friends joined...still no food. We asked the aloof female bartender who was very slow to come around, how long it had been. We had a direct view of the kitchen and told her we could see that there were only three checks hanging in the window, and she told us it looked more like 40 to her. What a stupid comment. She checked and realized it had been 45 minutes, so we said just forget the food. Of course that did not get communicated, so a server brings the food to the bar, where this bartender and some sort of management person intercepted and then they all came over to us offering the food and some drinks, etc. We kept one hamburger (undercooked and so much salt on the fries it was all inedible. Drinks were fine, but how can you screw up beer and wine. Garage validation does not work, so I paid the six dollar parking ticket with a ten dollar bill. I was given one dollar in change, with a note on the reciept that I was shorted three dollars. I went back into the restaurant where the bartender directed me to the chef and manager eating at the bar, during the busiest time of the evening (very strange). I explained to them what happened. They both looked disturbed by my interuption and I received no apology, no assistance (the garage receipt has no contact information), and was told I paid at the wrong place though there are no signs anywhere and the person validating the ticket did not communicate this. Pull it together if you are going to remain a bar...even an average bar with mediocre food.
