The Oil Club/ Harned Durham.... Cheated Me 1/7/2021

The Oil Club cheated me, lied, stonewalled, delayed, and kept the money. If you do business with them you can expect the same. I purchased a "new" oil boiler for $6,200 just before the pandemic. Two nice young men came over to install it. One was on his first week on the job. Later that night, when it wasn't working, I looked at the label. My new furnace was from 2011. That's right, 2011. This was December 2020. There was, and is, visible rust along the pipes inside. Joe, the liar from the Oil Club that sold me the furnace pretended to know nothing about anything, shined me on, delayed, promised to make it right and then did not respond to my numerous complaints. I was cheated right to my face. Do business with this scumbag company at your own risk. I'm going to post this message at least a couple of dozen times, wherever I can, to warn future victims. Best Team in Lehigh Valley 7/16/2020

I have used Harned Durham for 20+ years. From oil deliveries, yearly maintenance, new oil tank and now moving a thermostat. Yes it is probably an easy DIY, but with an older system that the Harned team maintains so well, I asked them to move my thermostat to a different floor. They even left the old one hooked up, in case I want to change things back come winter. When I schedule service, the team is always on time..which I love and they clean up any mess they have made. They are extremely thorough to explain what they have done and answer all questions, very knowledgeable. I highly support the quality of their service. Thanks guys!!! And ladies in the office!! Mark was quite knowledgeable and worked efficiently. He spent a lot of time assuring that all of the issues were addressed fully. He left our home as clean as he found it. No problems at all. more

Great Job 8/18/2019

Last evening our air-conditioning stopped. It was a Saturday evening so I called Harned Durham for an emergency call. Jarred said that he had two customers ahead of me. I explained to him that we have a child who is on a respirator and she could not tolerate the extreme heat. Jarred spoke with the customer ahead of us and they graciously allowed him to come to us first. Jarred fixed the problem immediately. My granddaughter wanted to meet her 'hero' and she told him 'that an angel sent him to help her breathe' better. We all thanked him for 'going the extra mile'. more

Efficient and Pleasant 8/8/2019

Chase, Eric, and Danny did a great job replacing our heating system and controls. the young men explained everything to us as needed. Cleaned up after work was completed and were very respectful. Would definitely recommend this crew. more

We had a leak, called emergency line, call was returned by Jarred. Jarred came out, was super friendly and professional. He fixed everything, but made sure it was completely done properly, checking all other issues, before leaving. more

Fabulous customer service! When our central AC unit literally burst and spewed freon gas and oil on a Saturday evening, they were johnny on the spot. A service technician came out on that Saturday evening for an initial assessment. And by Monday afternoon, another service technician arrived to provide a full assessment and a quote to replace the unit. The best part was that since they were not available for another week to complete the work due to other commitments, they installed portable window units in all of our bedrooms, at no additional charge. This made a huge difference for my family! The installation when well, the staff was courteous, and you would not have known they were here as they left no trace, except a cool house! Thank you to Mark, Joe, Jamin and the rest of the crew who worked hard to bring the chill back. more

Propane Tank Install 12/20/2017

Jamin K responded and installed the propane tank, taking extra care to insure that the base was level on a sloping area of the property. He, (and an Assistant- I didn't get his name) then checked the line from the tank to the house to make sure that there were no leaks or other problems. After that, Jamin checked the fireplace to make sure there were no leaks at the terminal point of the line. I very much appreciated that he covered his shoes with "booties' without being asked, and before he saw the area of the Family Room was carpeted. He was knowledgeable, efficient and personable, a fine representative of Harned durham. Thank you Jamin (and Assistant). more
