A couple of months ago I found Harmoni Salon. This place is awesome. The staff is great. They are friendly and they make sure you are taken care of. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting.\r \r I had curly long hair and wanted to do something different. I didnt have a clue what I wanted. My stylist was Monica Nicole. This lady is great. She listened to exactly what I was tired of and what I was possibly looking for. Over my free consultation she came up with some great ideas and my hair came out so amazing. I have gotten ALOT of compliments with my new hair cut and highlights it just amazes me. I normally don't write reviews but i had to take the time out and really express what a great place this is. The Salon is so relaxing I can see why its called Harmoni. The decor is peaceful and inviting. I was very happy with my hair stylist Monica. She did an excellent job with my hair. I just moved to San Antonio and a friend told me what a great job they had did with her hair and i decided to check this place out. Just completely blew away my expectations with the quality work they did with my hair.I have difficult problems with my hair but Monica knew exactly what treatment to use. I was really surpised of the service that I receieved from Monica. She relaxed, CUT and styled my hair. I LOVED the movement of my hair. She explained that alot of products have a wax in them which makes it hard to shampoo out. But that Profound Beauty's products are water soluble. She also CUT my hair in a nice shoulder length bob. Monica Nicole is an AMAZING HAIRSTLYIST!!! She is very honest, loving, and very patient when it comes to doing your hair. She is funny, and I learned soo much by what she was explaining to me about taking care of my hair, product knowledge, and treatments that are needed on a weekly basis. I went to get my hair done by Jennifer at Harmoni Salon, i wasn't sure what to get, but I did hear Jennifer was really good with highlights and color, which I'm really particular about, after i spoke with her during the consultation, i felt very confident and comfortable getting serviced by her, she really knows her stuff. She was very sweet and kind to me, treated me with respect and great customer service. She made me feel special. She did a really good job with my hair. My hair is curly and craazyy if you know what i mean...She did a Fabulous job on my hair, i'm definently going back to Jennifer. I went to harmoni salon and was greeted by cheerful energetic staff; Monica-Nicole colored, cut and styled my hair. I was very pleased with the haircut and color; as well as the education I needed to take better care of my hair. I definitely felt special and loved in her chair. I definitely recommend her. Countless times i've tried to explain the way I want my hair done and to get somebody do a decent fade with my hair (which is naturally curly), but to no avail. That was up until I found Monica Vargas. Not only does she make it tight, but she does a good job of making sure to approach every angle of it with precision. That seems so hard to do, going off of past experiences with other stylists...but I finally found somebody who does it exactly how I describe it to be done. I live across town from Harmoni Salon and only came to check out this place upon the recommendation of a friend, but will be happy to make those trips religously now that I've found someone who really knows what to do with my hair. Harmoni Salon is a really cool, relaxed yet professional salon. The staff greets you at door, offering coffee, tea or water. Along with a magazine to entertain while you wait. Mind you the wait was not long before my stylist came to greet me. I came to this salon because of there special FREE color or relaxer with Cut and Style and I have to say that I love my color! The entire experience was a great one...Whoever trained the staff cudos to you!! Thanks again for awesome customer service and a complete experience...Oh yeah and they do this thing where they Find your Routine which is like a consultation but BETTER! This really helped me to understand what products were good for my scalp and my hair. Ladies...I'm telling you this is a salon to try! In my book it's the BEST new salon on 1604/281... WOW! My search for a new stylist is FINALLY OVER ((yeah)). I heard about Harmoni through a friend & even though she LOVED it I was extreamly reluctant. The last time I had a haircut was about 3 mon ago (which was a complete DISASTER). So needless to say I checked out Harmoni & totally LOVED it! Starr really HEARD what I wanted and did a FANTASTIC job :) The staff was friendy too, which made my entire experience great...THANKS guys see ya in March! more

Ok well I have to say the staff are all very friendly and I felt very comfortable. Due to the type of hair I have im very cautious about getting my hair done. However I found Harmoni on the web that and it said they deal with all hair types...I thought that sounds great and I went and gave it a try. Like I said the staff was very nice and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and the atmoshere was nice and relaxing. The problem was that I was NOT totally satisfied with the outcome of my hair..when I called to let them know the issue they were more then willing to redo it at additional cost...which surprised me due to the fact that they have a SATISFACTION GUARANTEE sign posted on the desk, that states if within a week you are not happy to come back and it they will fix it...just specified NO REFUNDS. I didnt want a refund...just didnt want to pay anymore then I already had since I spent well over $100 the first time. So I went back anyway paid somemore money and was still not happy...so needless to say I had to spend more money to get it fixed somewhere else!!!!! I guess had the offered to fix my hair at no additional cost and I still didnt like it would have been one thing...but to charge me a second time for something that they did...well it pretty much didnt stick with the SATISFACTION GAURANTEE policy!!!! So due to that I will not go back!!! I was just very disappointed with the fact that they were not willing to fix the issue at no charge!!!! MY EXPERIANCE AT THIS NEW UPSCALE SALON WAS THE BEST THAT I'VE HAD, COMPARED TO OTHER KNOWN SALONS LIKE T&G :) HARMONI'S ATMOSPHERE IS CLASSY ALONG WITH A FRIENDLY AND PLEASING STAFF TO TOP IT OFF! THE THING THAT I LOVE THE MOST IS THAT THE STYLIST HERE TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN AND REALY GET AN UNDERSTANDING FOR WHAT THIER CLIENTS WOULD LIKE. I HAVE ALSO FELL ABSOLUTLY IN LOVE WITH THEIR NEW LINE OF SPECIAL FORMULATED PRODUCTS! I NOW USE NOTHING ELSE AND HAVE COMPLETELY CONVERTED TO THE PROFOUND BEAUTY LINE. I recently went to Harmoni Salon and was very pleasantly surprised. My hair type is very fine and dry, and most stylists don't know how to manage it. Monica was so knowledgable and used all of the right products from the conditioning treatment to the finising serum. Harmoni's product line--Profound Beauty has a product for every hair type. My hair was fuller, shiny and bouncy! I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to fit me in. Harmoni Salon is exactly what Stone Oak needed! And it's not overpriced like most of the Stone Oak salons. I made sure to book my next appointment while I was there. I have finally found my salon in San Antonio! The headline describes EXACTLY how my hair looked after Monica finished. It was BEAUTIFUL!! I received a shampoo, steam treatment and style. It was my first time receiving a steam treatment.
