Can't say enough about Hardwick's. If you haven't been there then you just don't get it. Best tool selection bar none: bigboxstores, internet, or any other hardware store; Anywhere USA and I've lived in 9 states. No joke. Best hardware, unreal tool selection. Excellent salespeople all knowledgeable and helpful. With patience too; I've listened to them trying to help num-nuts who can't talk or explain what they want and the salespeople at Hardwick's smile through it all trying their best. But the tool selection: Wow! is all I can say. And excellent prices to boot. Run; Don't walk. more

Great place 11/21/2002

Family owned hardware store, they have pretty much everything and are very convenient for anyone in the u district area. Always reasonably priced, and have a good used products section. Sometimes hard to find what you're looking for, but definately the first place I check for any household and repair needs. more
