I called this company, Ted, to unclog the main drain of my apartment. He told me that he would charge me $272. After coming one hour late, do a job that took him less than half hour, ask me a lot of personal questions, he told me that he was going to charge me $100 to replace his old tool! I was in shock, I'm still in shock, In all my life, I never heard that you have to pay for the job and for his old tool! Definitely, I wouldn't recommend him at all. more

Called Hardenburgh Plumbing on 5-26-2115 . Had a main line outside leak that needed repair/ replacement. Ted came down to Miami on 5-27-2015, pulled permit and he proceeded to replace line from meter to house. His work was performed in a timely manner with great professionalism. His prices were fair and in line with other plumbers. I would use/recommend him in the future. more

Had a broken pipe under the house. Ted came out immediately with "leak detector" which did not detect area of the leak with any accuracy. Long story short, Ted did more damage to my home than anything else. He jack-hammered through the concrete slab, destroying the tile and leaving a large hole in the foundation. When he finally decided to isolate the pipes, a day later, he recklessly cut and tore through the drywall instead of carefully cutting. After all the damage and time, I told him that this was just a waste of time and it would make more sense to just replace the line. The "job" took more than two days and has cost several hundred dollars to repair the damage left behind, not to mention the time missed from work. Ted is a nice guy, but I would not use him again, nor can I recommend his work. more

Late to every promised time over 8hours once, no estimate, tried to bill me by the hour even though his site says "by the job". Will ask you lots of personal questions. Could not finish the work because he could not diagnose the problem and works incredibly slow. more

Unlike the other reviews, I have to give this guy an "F". He no-showed and didn't return calls or text messages to explain. I had a plumbing issue which forced me to shut my water main off. Called Ted, got him on the first try. Nice guy on the phone. He was nearby and told me he had about an hour left on the job he was working on. He promised I would be next, no more than an hour and 15 minutes. As he requested, I texted him my address. Two hours later, I texted and called him--no reply. Which is funny since his voicemail says "most calls are returned in 10 to 15 minutes". I cannot rate the quality of his work but I can rate his reliability which is very poor. Call somebody else. more
