Forget about what your lease says, laurel will make it up as she goes. My wife and I stay clear of the clubhouse and are planning on getting out of here as soon as we can. more

I am very displeased with management, maintenance and cleanliness. Our lease is up in three months. We are already looking for other living arrangements. more

My husband and I will be leaving as soon as our lease is up. Between the drug dealers and drunk people puking on the bumper of our vehicle. I've seen it all. This place isn't safe. Terribly managed! more

My girlfriend and I finally got out of here. What a joke the two manager "men haters" are that sit in the clubhouse all day long bashing men. Rude, liars, disrespectful, and incompetent staff!!! Renters are leaving every chance they get. The owner will regret hiring these clowns as his business gets run into the ground. Horrible experience for both of us!!! more

Laurel is the property manager, she is a liar. Nothing gets fixed, she will not spend the money to evict you, she will raise your rent repeatedly until you move out. Any time that you complain about something needing to be fixed she will tell you, we've never had that problem before! That is her answer for everything. She is rude, entitled, and clueless as to how to manage anything. The noise is out of control and there is no respect at all. Laurel is all about money. The cleaning person is just as clueless and rude. The hallways and laundry rooms stink, the entire place is filthy and gross. If the owner had a clue of the staff running this place, he would fire them and start over, including the corporate lady that appears once a month! She is downright hateful to residents. Don't bother asking for owner contact info, you will never obtain it! Mold is an issue as well, its behind drywall patches. You can smell it especially in the garages, and stairwells. There really isn't anything good to report about this place, the rent is very high, the staff is totally incapable of doing their jobs, and Laurel is the worst person I have ever dealt with. In fact, she has maintenance work on her truck during work hours in the garage! I don't think the owner or corporate know about all the time she demands staff to spend on Laurel's personal problems. She has a lot of them and you will be her beating post!! If you are desperate and can afford the rent, they always have openings because people ate constantly moving out! GOOD LUCK, YOU WILL NEED IT! more

Noise is ridiculous, management especially "laurel" is rude and the little power she has has gone directly to her head!! more

Staff are rude and unprofessional! They hit you with surprise rent increases. Noise is out of control. They are also Letting felons in when they tell you they are doing background checks. more

Don't rent here. You have been warned. Laurel is one if the rudest people you could ever imagine. She will not return your calls of problems that arise. Her favorite thing to say is that problem has never happened before. When you talk to other that live there they say they have repeatedly brought those issues to her attention. They will hit you with hidden fees, and let huge dogs live next to you when they are only suppose to be a certain weight. People that live here are very frustrated with her lack of professionalism. She will not let out the owners contact info because she does not want them to know how mismanaged the place is. more

This place isn't really all that great. The maintenance is awful, on winter they don't even plow until 8 or 9 in the morning and does not plow the walk way, so you pretty much have to do it yourself. Once complained about the neighbor that blast their music really loud and they never talked to them. It went on for so many months. All in all we're just waiting for our lease to end so wee can move out of this awful place! more

Simply put... A great place to live. I have been here for a year and just renewed my lease yesterday for an additional year. I have no complaints. I live in one of the newer units with a built on garage. The office staff is great and so are the maintenance staff as well. I have had no problems since I have been here. I would recommend this place to anyone. more

I lived in Harbour Ridge Apartments for a total of two years before I retired from the Coast Guard and moved back home to Sweet Home Alabama. I loved my two years there. Having been in Personnel with the Coast Guard I did hear several horor stories about some other apartment complexes. Yes, Harbour Ridge does seem to go up on the rent each year but a lot of places do that. It's definitely worth the money with the enclosed attached garage and washer and dryer right in the apartment. No going out to do the laundry. It is a very secure place to live and the maintenance guys are the best. I had a very good relationship with the office staff, too. Thanks, Harbour Ridge! I highly recommend you to any and everybody. more

BEWARE of renting from these people. The place is nice, but they raise your rent EVERY YEAR!! I pay my rent on time and have NEVER been late, but it gets raised every year for five years now. more

I've lived in Harbour Ridge for a year now. I wouldn't live anywhere else. The apartments are great, the attached garages are wonderful, and the maintenance crew is the best. My neighbors and I have become like family, caring for each other, watching out for each other. I'm in the Coast Guard and three other 'Coastie's' have apartments here. No complaints! more

The woman who runs Harbour Ridge lies and deceives tenants. As an apartment manager her philosophy is to LIE to your face regarding the illegal manner which she runs the complex. I paid my rent every month on time and was a good tenant. One month, she lost my money order, admitted it then tried evicting me. The absurd charges she has given a collection agency is threatening my credit score. SO unless you have a lawyer who is inexpensive, time to go to court or an endless bank account, then this complex is great! more

My sister lived at Harbour Ridge, as did one of my close friends. These apartments are just gorgeous. They are so light and open. They have a great lay-out (especially the apartments that include a den). Each apartment has it's own attached garage so you can pull into your garage and go right into your apartment. That is a wonderful safety feature. The apartments are in a very central location, less than 2 miles from downtown and just around the corner from several shopping areas. more
