Happy Time Children's Ministry

I love this daycare, my kids are 2 and 3 and have been at happytime for 1.5 yrs now. I dont know what i would do without the girls that work here, they love my children and take excellent care of them while im working. They go over and beyond with care given to my kids. My kids have a very extensive vocab, sing songs, know alphabet, count from 1-20. They both know there full name, birthday, and days prayers. This daycare is FAR FROM horrible. There is this thing called ""disgruntled"" and i believe that sometimes people can take to heart what is necessary for a lifestyle change. The staff at happytime have never gave me any reason to not recommend families to bring there children here. This review on here reqarding the 3 yr old is a bunch of crap, 3 years happytime worked with that child. Im sorry but behaviors are supposed to change and this child was not.....something is wrong with that situation. I understand the underlying heath issue however that doesnt make it okay for a child to act out and be mean to other kids for extended periods of time. The staff recommended another place for this child because they CARE what happens to that child. SO this mother really needs to get over the fact that her child has behavior issues that need to be dealt with. With that said to personally attack people at this daycare by first name on the internet is childish and totally uncalled for. Missy and Devan are amazing, Missy you know my little girl would be totally lost without you and your daughter so please remember that .I am telling you this daycare is the best thing to ever happen to this family. i have a 20 month old daughter and a 14 week old daughter and I am so happy with the care they get.They have their needs met and the teachers try there best to work with the parents wishes. the teachers really love the children and would do just about anything for them. my almost two year has learned so much there such as numbers, colors, shapes, ect... Deven and Missy are always so nice and they run the place very well. over all happy Time is a great place to entrust your children with Pros: great place for kids more

My son was at this daycare for 3 yrs. He was born with Hirschsprung's disease (colon disease). He was signed up before he was born so we were unaware of his problems. He had a colostomy bag and I was delighted that they were still going to keep him. They had a change in management two yrs later and the place went down hill. By this time my son was 2 and a half. No colostomy bag. He had corrective surgeries and the only restrictions he had/has was a limited fruit diet and his potty training would be delayed. I started to get notes on a daily basis about his behavior. Although not perfect I will admit, but nothing to ""write home"" about. When he turned three, he was still kept in the two yr old room, not being promoted to the 3 yr old room because he wasn't potty trained. This enraged me. But I didn't voice any opinion about it, I was gonna wait it out until he was three and a half or so. I then get a note from the new directors, Missy and Devine, saying that my son needed more attention than they could give and gave me two weeks to find other care. The daycare is overcrowded and they didn't want to deal with him is pretty much my take on it. They did not speak to me face to face, they just sent a note. My child is now in a childcare that was recommended by one of the teachers that care for him there. Obviously my child can not be that bad if another teacher that works there recommend's my child to another place whom they are acquainted with. I do not recommend Happy time unless you're child is a robot and they don't have to ""deal"" with them being..well a kid. Pros: Seems nice at first Cons: Terminates your child through letter more
