My husband purchased a groupon and we were finally able to get an appointment for early Dec. Two people were sent instead of three and we had to leave for an appointment. We returned about 2 1/2 hours later and they were gone. It was not a good cleaning job but we let it go and got ready for Christmas. A few weeks later I went to get a bracelet to discover that it was gone. I checked and all that remained of some of my jewelry were empty boxes. I searched for this jewelry but it is not here and know I can not get ahold of this company, heard that they have closed. They have ruined my faith in people and it will be a long time before I trust a cleaning service. more

Unhappy with housekeeping 2/1/2012

I purchased a groupon for their service in September and after several attempts to contact them set up an appointment for January. They cleaned around things, i.e. mopped, but didn't move my barstools (which is where my floor was actually dirty). I have many examples like this, but it's all the same principal. Three people came and were in and out in an hour, which means I paid more than the going rate for a normal service and what I signed up for was a ""deep cleaning"" which would typically have taken half a day. They also ruined the fringe of a persian rug vacuuming and boldly denied doing so. Hard to contact, not responsible for damages, not a good job. more

Loved Them! 12/6/2011

I thought they did a great job. I live in Cabot. They were a little bit late on the day of my appointment, but that is ok with me. I bought the groupon and was surprised that it took them so long to get to me (I bought the groupon in September and my appointment was in December). They did however, on several occassions call me when they had an appointment that cancelled to see if I wanted it. After having them in my home, I understand why it took so long to get to me, they must be popular! They did a great job. They did more than what my groupon was for and didn't charge me any extra. Their normal prices are significantly less expensive than the cleaning business I have been using which charges me $40/hr with a 2 hour minimum. They were very polite and efficient. I will definitely be calling them again. more

Great housekeeping 11/16/2011

I called Happy Housekeeping to get service and they were great, very polite, I did have to leave a meesage but they did get back to me. They explained that they do not allow talking on phones while in houses cleaning, and that she had all her people out which left no one in the office due to a shortage for the day. That was ok, she also went on to tell me that it would be a little bit before they could get me in but it was well worth the wait. These people are great and I would recommend them to anybody. Once they get you in you are then put on a schedule. I would recommend them highly and I am very picky about the way my house is cleaned and they were able satisfy even me. Good job guys !!! more

So Disappointed 10/26/2011

Like the previous reviewer, I also bought a Groupon to use with this business. They are almost impossible to contact, as the answering machine is almost always full and not accepting messages-- it took me a dozen calls over a week to finally leave a message to schedule an appointment. I had difficulty confirming the appointment, because the mailbox was again full. However, when I sent a message through their website, they did call yesterday to confirm the appointment I had. Today, they did not keep the appointment, and we were unable to reach them because (of course) the mailbox is full. This is a huge disappointment and inconvenience after prepping the house for cleaning, securing valuables, arranging for our dog to be elsewhere to stay out of their way, and arranging for a nearby family member to let them in. I will also be working with Groupon to get a refund. more

One of the Best Cleanings My House has ever Had 10/20/2011

After reading what other's had to say, I knew I had to speak on behalf of the ladies of Happy Housekeeping. THese were some of the most detail oriented people that I have ever met. I have two rottweilers that were running around the house as the ladies were trying to clean, and they still did an excellent job, and you can't even tell that the dogs are there. This is a real company, yes their contact information may have changed, but I wouldn't trust the cleanliness of my house to anyone but the ladies of Happy Housekeeping. Anyone that thinks differently, may need to learn how to clean, before you go judging what someone else is doing. more

Absolutely Horrible 10/1/2011

Absolutely horrible. Happy Housekeeping will not honor my Groupon. They have missed two appointments and never call to inform me they cannot come. They are unprofessional. I will have to deal with Groupon to get my money back. Avoid this company, if they are even a real company. I am giving this company one star only because this site will not permit me to save my review without selecting at least one star. Happy Housekeeping does not even deserve one star. more
