Moved to NY from Illinois a few years ago and found HPD by searching online. I couldn’t have been more satisfied. Had a few cavities done and now come everything 6 months for my cleaning. No hassles. In and out. more

My sister has been coming here for years and always has been happy. I came with her one day and they saw me shortly after her. Turns out I had a lot of cavities and needed some other work and they were very good about explaining everything to me and explaning my insurance. This stuff can be confusing and I’m very thankful they took the time to explain it. I have been taken advantage of before. Anyways I am halfway done with all my work and thought I’d let you guys know this place is great! more

came in for first time last week. was able to maek an appointment on short notice and was seen quickly. getting my front teeth all redone and they were very helpful in setting up payment plan. wasnt able to find that anywhere else. excited to go back. more

I have been a patient at Hanson Place Dental for 6 years and was surprised to see some of the reviews here. I have lived in Brooklyn my whole life and have been to many, many local dentists and am so relieved I finally found this place. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and the dentists have a lot of experience (I can assure you that this is not the case with most offices that accept my insurance!) They also have the specialists at the office so you don't get referred around which I hate! What more can you ask for? Sure, there are times I've had to wait but that has been the case at any doctor or denist office I have ever been to. Don't waste your time elsewhere! more

I can't believe the level of professionalism they have. They try to be nice before you are treated, its because they want your money. Got a root canal, now tooth is loose, while in the process they chipped another tooth. OMG now trying to get my money back, they refuse. Gotta get in contact with the insurance company. If you want to go through this trouble come here, but please stay away from this place. Find another destist. They keep turning you away and giving you the run around. I wish I had looked at all the reviews before I went. Tooo late for me, anyone reading this take my advise. more

When I first went to Hanson Place Dental I had x-rays and a cleaning and was surprised at my experience. Both women were great: friendly and competent. I was surprised because when I first called to make the appointment the woman on the phone was really rude and abrasive. However, when I went back to get a couple of cavities filled, the dentist who worked on me was HORRIBLE. He was extremely rough, didn't explain anything, and did incomplete work. One of the cavities was only partially filled. He didn't remove all of the cavity and then just threw mercury filling in there. I can still see the cavity. I had the mercury in my mouth - I kept spitting it out for 20 minutes after the work was over. I told the women in the office about my experience but nothing was done. A week later and I'm still in pain - wake up in the middle of the night pain - and have had a fever - which I'm guessing means I have an infection from the work. Now I have to find a new dentist and have them fix the tooth - go through the shots and drilling out the mercury all over again. I wish I could give them a positive review because like I said the ladies that did the x-rays and cleaning were great. But beware of the dentist! more
