This place brings me back to where my heart belongs. I love this place. BEST German Cuisine on the West Coast. You can't go wrong here! more

The best German deli in the state 11/2/2010

This place is the real, authentic German deli run by real Germans. Full with great foods and goods, this little corner market always brings me the holiday spirit, since I let them smoke my turkey every year around Thanksgiving, and it is so nicely done! more

Hans' Deli has the best selection of German foods and drinks. I love this place! Meat, cheese, beer, oh, my! Pros: Close to my home, great service, great products Cons: I wish it was open Sunday more

I love this place!! 4/9/2009

I've been a customer for about 12 years. Staffed mostly with German women. Very clean friendly place. I like to get the bread rolls (brotchen) and lunch meats and cheeses. My sister recently brought back some yummy cookies from Amsterdam. I stopped by Hans hoping that they had them & they did. The only cons are that it isn't open all that late in the evening and you can't just drop by anytime expecting there to be brotchen because they sell out quickly. The bottom line though is that the place and the things it sells are wonderful and I can't recomend it enough! Pros: Brotchen, meats & cheeses, and sweets Cons: Hours are limited & the bread sells out quickly. more

the real deal. authentic, charming german pork store. landjaeger, liverwurst, pretzels....gemutlich (The negative 1 star review on here is libel and inaccurate and offensive and should be removed) more

Authentic German Food 12/11/2008

Im not sure what the reviewer above was smoking because there isnt a mexican ""frank"" that works there. There are mostly german women. They have great selection of german meats and other german food. I always get great service and the food is wonderful. It's a little expensive, but it's great. They will allow you to sample the meats and cheese before you buy it to ensure you like it. We buy things there that we cant find other places. It's a little diamond in the ruff.
