A life saver! 12/11/2010

My last visit to Dr. Hankin' s office proved to be a true life saver. My vision was getting worse and even though I had recently seen my primary care physician NO ONE had expressed concerns about diabetes. He was very thorough and because of this noticed small changes already taking place due to undiagnosed diabetes. My primary doctor was shocked and very impressed. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Hankins. He is my angel. more

Dr. Hankins is AMAZING!!! 12/1/2010

All of my family has been going to see Dr. Hankins for many years and we love going to his office. The staff is really friendly and attentive. They have been a HUGE help in navigating my insurance. I've tried other eye doctors in the past who rushed me out of the office and made me feel unimportant. Dr. Hankins really took the time to understand my concerns and made sure I got the treatment that I needed. We love Dr. Hankins! I recommend his office to all of my friends. more

Dr. Hankins is amazing. After 22 years of phenominal service, I am shocked at the one negative review. I love my annual check-ups, the staff is wonderful. Customer service is a HUGE priority with this office. Sharon is great at assisting with frame selections to suit your face and meet your budget. If you have any conerns/issues, they are addressed immediately. Every time I walk in, it's like visiting family. Who else can say that about a doctor's office?? Oh, and my family, HUGE supporters of this WONDERFUL office. If you're in need of an eye exam/doctor...don't hesitate, give them a call! Truly, the best around...I refer everyone I know to this office! more

I have had problems with his office over the last two years because they are unwillling to hassle with the lab to get the prescription right. I have to do the communication with the lab myself. Now they are dropping me as a patient because I demand that my eyeglasses be cut properly. The Dr's office does ALL their work correctly and accurately, it is just their attitude toward requiring the lab to produce an acceptable result that is the problem. Then to make things worse, drop me as a patient BECAUSE they use a shoddy lab. Pros: Very sharp, excellent optometrist Cons: Lacks character more
