Fast, average work. 5/22/2013

Handyman Matters scheduled the work very quickly which was nice. They were done with the job within the time frame specified. The quality of the work was not as good as I would have liked. We figured it was a trade off between speed and quality. I probably wouldn't use them again if I was concerned about the quality of the work but if my primary concern was the speed, I would use them again. more

Satisfactory 5/3/2013

It was difficult to get Handyman Matters of Northern Virginia to come out. Initially, they didn't show and when they did show, the handyman was three hours late. I was told the late arrival was unusual, but anyway, in the end everything worked out. The handyman replaced the batteries on the smoke alarms that were too high for me to reach. He also cleaned the dryer vents and fixed a look on a door for me. He did well, it just took some time to get him out here. more

Handyman Matters of Northern Virginia has helped me on several occasions. They repainted my garage, built some very nice cabinets, put in some baseboard, and replaced a vent for my dryer. more

Great workmanship and fast response 2/21/2013

We utilized Handyman Matters for some drywall work, hanging doors, and for work on sliding closet doors. Both workmen were extremely professional, projects were completed in projected timelines, and there were no issues processing payment. I would recommend their services to anyone needing basic repairs and minor home improvements. more

Excellent customer service 10/22/2012

Handyman Matters helped me with a garage door frame that was rotted a little more than anticipated. They identified a major problem and fixed it at a minimal cost. They have excellent customer service and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. more

Outstanding job! Will be calling again soon for more work to perform. 10/8/2012

Dwayne did an out standing job. There was alot to achive in a short period of time and he did not waiste one minute. I felt comfortable with his knowledge and skills in a short period of time which freed me up to continue with my work during the day. No supervision required which is hard to find these day. Outstanding job Handyman Matters!! more

If I need something fixed, I can call Handyman Matters and boom, it's done. When you have a full time job and you work all the time the last thing you want is to wait around and let someone in. With these guys I can just put my key under the mat, call and give them the credit card number and whatever I want gets done. I've used them a few times both at their Northern VA office and at their Columbia, MD offices and both times the work has been perfect. more

Handyman Matters of Northern Virginia has performed quality work for us. My wife and I have been doing a lot of renovations outside and they've been very helpful. They put in a sink for us outside, reconfigured our bathroom, and they'll be putting up a fence for us soon. Their craftsmen are reliable and very thorough. They are always professional and timely. We're very satisfied with them. more
