We had a very small job that needed to be taken care of - just a couple of grab bars to be installed and a toilet seat that needed to be attached securely. The gentleman from Handyman arrived on time, got the job done in short order, and everything was perfect. I have no doubt he could have handled much larger and more complex projects. Based on this very positive experience, we will use Handyman Matters again and would recommend them to others. more

Odd jobs completed well and in timely fashion. 9/23/2013

We had tasks ranging from installing a bathroom fan to cleaning out the gutters at a rental house we own. It was very convenient to have one person who get all the work done, rather than having to arrange with several people. The person who did the work was personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. more

Replaced commode and sink fixtures in a bathroom 6/7/2013

Fully professional turn key operation, from purchasing the fixtures to total installation. Slight follow-on leak on a sink supply line was immediately corrected. Would highly recommend! more

We've had them out for three different "lists" of projects and found then knowledgeable, friendly and capable each time. Impressive to us due to the varying types of projects for which we need help. The "right" person was always sent and/or sent for to professionally finish the job. more

Had issue with creaky floors. Quick response to my inquiry over the web. Repairman showed up on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable. Fixed issue with floor via access underneath through drywall on garage ceiling. Made good repair of drywall hole when done. more

Go above and beyond the call of duty, incredible work 2/13/2013

We moved here from California 3 years ago and when we had problems at the house we didn't know anyone or what service to use. I was recommended to Handyman Matters and Dave was kind and introduced himself and he had great credentials. They have bent over backwards for us, and when we were out of the house for 7 weeks due to lots of maintenance and repairs, he absorbed part of the cost for the project. He usually finishes in less time than he estimates and everything done has been done superbly. They cleaned the bathtub and mirrors and dusted so that when we moved back into the house after 7 weeks it was spotless. They cleaned the toilets and everything! I couldn't believe how above the call of duty they went. Very personable staff as well. more

I was overall very happy with the service provided and Scott has been wonderful to work with. The only reason I gave the total experience 4 stars rather than 5 is that I wish I would have been more aware of the need to have all the correct and necessary parts and pieces for the job to be done. more

Handyman Matters has helped me with a few things so far. Calling and talking with Cindy to line things up, or chatting with her through e-mail, have been a breeze. She has been helpful and accommodating. The men that have helped me couldn't be more efficient, qualified, and polite. They just arrive with a smile, ready to do whatever I ask them to do ~ and before I know it ... it's done. As an owner/occupant of a large duplex I am looking forward to working with Handyman Matters for pretty much as long as I am living here. I see no reason to seek other help. I have already sang their praises at my work place, and would encourage anyone needing anything done in their home to give them a call. more

The handyman arrived on time and was very professional. I gave him a list of the following repairs: wall board in garage, door bell, laundry room light fixture, family room heater, outside hose bib, smoke alarms, bedroom wall outlet. He fixed every item quickly and promptly. I called your office and told you how delighted I was with the work he did. more

Very Difficult Pocket Door Repair 10/2/2012

This was a seriously difficult repair. A door that hangs from two rollers and the nuts holding the solid wood door come loose. The normal procedure would be to remove the molding around the door, so access to the nuts would be possible. Instead, this craftsman figured out how to get a wrench on the nuts AND adjust them so that the door hit the frame perfectly. My boss called it a "miracle" of wood repair. I got some of the credit, even though I didn't do very much! This rather tedious job was made more pleasant by Jeff's attitude and optimism. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. more

Office Handy Work needed 9/20/2012

All I needed was a guy to come and move some furniture, hang a few wipe boards and assemble a few bakers' racks. The company sent two men, which ended up working out due to the weight of some of the furniture, and they proceeded to execute all minor tasks expediently. I was here alone at the time, and very much appreciated knowing that the workers were bonded and trustworthy, so I didn't have to hang over the top of them, watching every move they made. That was a blessing! Also, they were nice, fast and the whole thing worked out great! more
