Tie-rod 9/26/2013

Within the span of one whole minute Darrell found the cause of my left front wheel shimmering; a bad tie-rod. W/O him I could have had a bad, bad accident. Praise for Hands-On-Garage. more

No more service than is actually needed 9/14/2013

Came in for an oil change and asked if my tires needed to be rotated and was told it could wait until the next oil change. Saved me a few bucks. more

I appreciate the freindliness for staff and quick service. I hope that owner invest in the waiting area. The waiting area is not very welcoming with it's dirty floor and old t.v that only has 1 channel. more

ABSOLUTLEY amazing in every way! 9/4/2013

I had such am unexpectedly amazing experience at the Hands- On Garage. I had never done any car work myself before in my life, but decided to just go for it, so rented a space there by the hour. Everyone who worked there was sooooo nice and so helpful. Everytime I had a question (even a super simple one) they gave me a super straightforward answer or came to help right away. I am definitely going back there. Can't wait actually! I went from being scared and unsure of doing any mechanical work myself to now feeling totally confident and excited about future projects. Wow! I am a female by the way, and was very impressed (and surprised actually) at how equally treated I was by everyone, especially with it being such a male dominated profession. Thumbs UP & 5 Stars!!!! more

Incredibly convenient and Amazing Service 8/20/2013

I have lived in Milwaukee for about 7 months and had to do several repair jobs in my parking lot because I did not know about this place. Now that I do, I will never be stuck without tools or the convenience of a lift again. I came in to do a quick oil change and got excellent service from the gentleman at the counter to the technicians in the garage. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who works on cars or needs work done on cars. more

I was happy that my van could be fixed the same day, but very disgusted that I was charged an $80 diagnostic fee just to tell me that my battery was dead. more

I've been coming to Hands On Garage since just after they opened. All the employee's are very Knowledgeable in all aspects of vehicle repair and "NICK" stands out as the service tech of choice for me when anything needs repair on my vehicles. This facility has a family feel to it unlike other repair shops that I have gone to. THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT SERVICE !!! more
