Handley has hired a company to post fake positive reviews on many online review sites. These are not posted by real clients, but by a reputation management company. This is unethical, deceptive to potential clients and unfair to competing attorneys. As a real client, he did a terrible job for me. The Attorney Arbitration Committee forced him to reimburse me because of his errors and inappropriate charges. more

He made serious errors in court (cost me thousands of dollars) for which he promised several times to adjust my bill, but he later went back on his word and refused. I had to file a complaint and finally the Attorney Fee Arbitratio?n Committee forced him to reimburse me a significan?t amount due to his errors and inappropri?ate charges. He also misled me on whether it was mandatory for him to be present at a mediation,? for which he charged me. I found out it was not mandatory as he had told me. He charged me for a meeting and phone call which never occurred, but he refused to provide a record or proof. I knew there was no meeting because I worked all day that day and have the record. The Attorney Disciplinary Board and the Client Security Commission never allowed me to see anything regarding their investigative process after I filed my complaints. I have no idea what Handley was asked, if anything. Handley was never required, to my knowledge, to provide any proof or record of the phantom meeting and phone call. A major flaw in the Disciplinary process is that lawyers are ""investigated"" and ""judged"" by their fellow lawyers. Handley is on the Grievance Committee, which surely makes fellow attorneys reluctant to discipline him. Handley is also padding his online reviews himself, to make up for the bad ones, which is unethical, phony and pathetic. more

My daughter and I had some legal questions that we needed answered. I called Mr. Handley at 1:00 PM and by 2:00 PM that day we were in his office getting some answers that we needed. More false statements from Handley - These are merely screen names. NONE of the complaints are fictitious. Handley promised to change my bill due to his errors and inappropriate charges and he did not. I had to take action with the Attorney Fee Arbitration Committee to force him to reduce my bill. They reduced it by about $1700. Is that fictitious, Larry? The fiction comes from your false statements and lack of honesty when dealing with your clients. Handley still refuses to show me proof of a meeting and phone call he billed me for in error (he had promised twice to correct the error,but he did not) after my repeated requests. He has no proof or records of it, because they never occurred. If you would have dealt with me fairly and honestly, I wouldn't have to warn everyone about your extremely poor service and effort.
