The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The staff are so nice and now feel like family. The food is absolutely beautiful and delicious. Great place to take a date, for a business meeting, to enjoy a game and some drinks, or when you are just craving their food!!! My favorite restaurant EVER! more

If you are looking for a Sushi restaurant that has some personality, where you can talk to the Sushi Chef and where they want and appreciate your business, this is the place. I always like to sit at the sushi bar and I like to converse with the Sushi Chef. I like to find out what he likes and dislikes and ask him to make something that is not on the menu. Mr. Suzuki is most accommodating. Most other places in the Dallas area that I have been (Blue Fish) you might as well sit at a table because you have no idea who?s making your dish and they would rather you didn?t talk to the sushi production staff as it slows down the assemble line. Sushi should be a social experience. Yuji Suzuki and his staff make this a wonderful place. Pros: The sushi is great. more

I thought Blue Fish was the best sushi I had tried thus far in Dallas, however, I found Hanasho and now it's my sushi spot!! While the service is a little slower than I would like, and they don't serve Coca Cola products, the quality of the food and portions make up for that. The Bento Boxes are out of this world and a great bargain for the amount of food you get. Their sushi rolls are very creative and packed with so much flavor. The sushi chefs have been at the restaurant for years and are all Japanese sushi pros! The wait staff is not very helpful when you have questions about certain sushi or exotic rolls. They don't really know their sushi well enough to give you a good recommendation. I would suggest asking one of their talented chefs if you're not sure about ordering something new. Pros: Small, quiet, rarely cvercrowded atmosphere Cons: Wait staff is not that knowledgeable about their sushi, and the service is slow, they are understaffed. more
