Hammond Pet Hospital: Molly Farrell, DVM

I started out volunteering at Hammond Pet Hospital in the 80's when I was in 6th grade, and I credit their support/ encouragement to be one of the reasons I am now a vet. I realize now what an important community program this was. I've been back to visit a few times since and am always impressed with the balanced services they provide - high quality medicine and personable pet care. Keep up the good work Dr. Farrell and Dr. George! more

We've been clients for over 35 years. We moved to Schererville, but keep coming back. They're worth the drive! The staff is wonderful. Dr. George is my pal and the two young docs are great. Respectful, friendly, great service and advice - everything you want in veterinarians. more

These people are fantastic. We lost our old girl last Easter to cancer of the spleen. They were so loving, kind and understanding. They put her down with dignity. Now with our new dog (a purebred Catahoula Leopard) they are equally loving and gentle. My husband and I decided to try this facility after reading the few reviews posted on this site. We love this place and have NO desire to ever go anywhere else. If you're looking for a great vet in Hammond (or anywhere for that matter) - check this place out. Not fancy - just fantastic! more

I've had dogs and cats all my life and when I moved from Chicago to Hammond, I didn't know where to take my pets. It took awhile of trying, but I found Hammond Pet Hospital and have been going there for my pets for a little over a year now. As said previously, the folks here really love the pets and are very sweet and helpful to the pet owners as well. I really like them. more

I have had to take a few pets to Hammond Animal Hospital.They were very courtious and respectful of your feelings and your animals.I had to take 1 pet there he was really old and had some problems they were very honest with me and let me know that my cant wouldnt suvive the surgery because of his age and we could spend the money to try but it would more than likely not survive.The surgery would have cost almost 700 dollars including anestesia and stay.And they would even work out a payment plan if we chose to try anyway.Well my cat was 13 yrs old and was fantastic it was sad to let him go.The nurse felt for us and let us spend time with our cat b4 they put him down.These people were more than sweet.the nurse looked like she wanted to cry with us they love these animals just as much as we do.On a happier note I then got aa dog and they were so excited for us.My dog loved them they were great with her.This is a good animal hospital. more

I have been taking my pets to this place for 6 years. They have the best prices around. The staff is very friendly and will take the time to answer any questions you have. They love animals and it shows. They make your pet feel comfortable upon arrival. more
