I've been around dancestudios and teachers for a good part of my life and I have to say that Hamilton is the best!\r I love all the teachers and staff there, they are very knowledgable and helpful. I have been at Hamilton Dance for 7 years and each year keeps getting better and better.Each year the recital gets more and more exciting and creative and i can't decide which performance was better. Each year the talent gets bigger and better. The dance program is focused not only on nurturing talent but nurturing all disciplines of that talent from technique to alignment to simply having fun while you perform. Rita Hamilton has done nothing short of picking the best instructors with extensive resumes and it is represented in the quality of students and work coming from the school. I have never been to a school where i am welcomed from the moment i walk up the grueling stairs to the moment i leave class. I never get tired of going back. Hamilton is an easy place to call home. It is a place where you get support when you need it, and ear when you need to be heard, and even a shoulder when you need one to lean one. In the past 6 years my daughter has learned so much more than dance steps. She haslearned to be part of a team,to believe in herself, and to always do her best and be proud of it. I danced at Hamilton Dance Studio for much of my adolescent into late teen years. It was great fun and always something I looked forward to. I learned a variety of genres and never felt intimidated to try something new. All the teachers were very supportive and helpful. This Studio is the best in Brooklyn, if not all five boroughs!! more

This was my first year at Hamilton Dance. My daughters and I were welcomed with open arms. The teachers take their jobs seriously but at the same time you can tell they love what they do. My daughters have learned to love dancing from Hamilton Dance. The parents are great and the staff is friendly & eager to help. Rita Hamilton is loved by all the children and the parents. The recitial was fantastic and so much fun to watch. I watched a recitial from another school and the dances that this school performed could not compared to Hamilton. Our children performed like professional and that's due to the hard work of the teachers, their assistants and Rita Hamilton. Hamilton Dance has become our second family! more

My daughters love going to dance at Hamilton dance. One year hasn't finished before my girls are talking about what classes they want to sign up for the next year. It's a great friendly, cozy environment that makes you feel welcome from the first time you walk through the doors. The ten years I shared with Rita Hamilton and the entire Hamilton Dance crew are ones that I will look fondly upon for the rest of my life. Rita sparked my joy in dancing, constantly uplifting each and every student, as well as building a strong dance education. Each week, as my classes ended, the anticipation began to climb until my next chance to reenter the studio and learn yet another unique and fun routine. My daughters and I were welcomed when we first went to Hamilton to try out the dance classes. Right away i was comfortable. My daughters love dancing at Hamilton. Their teacher Rita Hamilton is a joy and blessing to work with. Rita has seen the talent that my youngest daughter has and she guides her in the right direction. If it was not for Rita my daughter would not have gone to Tap City this summer and experience the joys of tap. Even though Rita teachers Tap at Hamilton, she encourages her students to try out the summer dance programs that are offered in the summer. Every Year Hamilton's dance recital gets more spectactular, my daughters are always excited and anxious when that time comes around. Rita is bringing out my daughters true talent and myself as her mother is very grateful for this. We are looking forward to starting back at Hamilton for the 2009-2010 dance year. The teacher at Hamilton are great and my daughters love going there. The teachers at Hamilton are top notch! They push their students to be the best they can and trust me it pays off! Hamilton has ranked high gold, top and first place in their competitions and their recitals are always enjoyable. The teachers, staff and students are a family and this quality gives Hamilton an edge. My sister has danced at Hamilton for nine years and each year, despite the hard work she learns responsibility, team work and discipline. All attributes to lead to a successful future. Hamilton Dance has great teachers and a friendly environment. I personally appreciate the level of skill Rita Hamilton has in tap since thats not very easy to find. I had 10 great years there and can't wait to go back. more

Hamilton Dance is in my opinion, and in the opinion of many others, one of the most reliable dance studios ever. The teachers are amazing for 2 simple reasons: 1 because they welcome, encourage and work with every student in the class, and 2 because they actually do know how to teach! They have amazing backgrounds both as performers, choreographers and as educators, including Rita Hamilton (studio director). My daughter has been enrolled at Hamilton Dance for two years. She began when she turned just 4 years old and gained lots values, discipline and skills throughout the first year. Ms. Rita Hamilton, founder of the studio, dedicates so much time and compassion into her work. This studio is wonderful for many reasons. One being it is a homely enviornment. My sister started around the age of five and loved it. The gymnastics class helped her stay fit and become very flexible. She enjoyed taking the hip hop and jazz classes to learn new steps. I joined at the age of nineteen to have something to do to keep my mind off of the passing of my boyfriend and dancing in the class with everyone helped pick up my spirts and keep me active. Even my two little cousins are signing up to join and I am continuing and so is my sister. Being in Hamilton Dance is like being in a family. We all love each other as a family and get along very well that's why everything always goes so well come recital time. Come join and see for yourself. IT IS WORTH IT! more

Hamilton dance is a dance studio in Brooklyn. This year coming up is my 10th year dancing there. I used to always think my family was very small but when i entered Hamilton dance my family was very big all the teachers, families, students, and faculty are one big family. Hamilton dance is a second family to me a second home for me. Everyone there cares about each other and looks out for each other. 100% support and comfort comes from all of the teachers and faculty. I love dancing there and even when im having a bad day and i go there my whole day turns around and im happy again. Hamilton dance is more then just a dance studio. Hamilton dance is always there for me for everybody. I remember in 2006 i lost someone very close to me and i went to dance and Rita the owner, and all of the teachers were there to hug me and comfort me. To have that comfort especially at a time like that really did mean alot to me. Im always laughing and smiling when im there. Im always having a great fun time. Hamilton dance doesnt just care about dance there always asking me and alot of other students ""Hows school going?"", ""How was your summer?"", Hamilton dance is always asking questions about stuff also outside of dance which makes me feel very comfortable and welcome. Ive made best friends there and get to dance with them which is great. Hamilton dance is so determined to have kids move up to higher classes that they actually wrote a letter to my father telling him how much i deserved to move up to the advanced gymnastics class. And when i held that letter in my hands i felt great i knew i made progress and my family knew i made progress. I and my family are very happy with the progress Ive made at Hamilton Dance. The prices there are moderate and everyone does enjoy it. Hamilton dance does have a huge impact on me and i really do love it there. more

Hamilton Dance is a dance school that provides children with a solid foundation in the Art of Dance, while having fun. I believe the goal of the staff is to teach the skills needed to become great dancers. From beginners to advance classes your children will be challenged and will learn that to excel in his/her talent will take work, HARD WORK, but hard work is never without its rewards. Hamilton Dance has competition groups whom have won various awards for their outstanding abilities. The staff is always patience and ready to help. As a former Student of Hamilton I always remembered when I wasn?t able to pick up a step or chorography as quickly as the other students I never felt left out, my teachers and peers were always willing to help, even after class. Hamilton Dance is truly a second home for me and everyone there has become my extended family. I would recommend this studio to EVERYONE!!! more
