Nothing but GOOD to say 2/9/2011

We've been going to Dr. Haman for 3 years. All our experiences have been very good. My 5 year old hasn't had to have any fillings or invasive work done (hopefully will never need to!!). We're VERY happy w/ Dr. Haman and her staff. more

stay away - far away. 1/18/2011

It has the look of a great place. A+ for kid friendly design. But horrible dentist practice and cold staff personality. Maybe they're okay if you just need a cleaning as we didn't have any problems unitl small fillings were needed. Not sure if Dr. Haman is doing the fillings or a technician (since they don't allow parents to come back to the rooms) but my kids had two botched fillings leading to abscessed teeth. There are many more personal and quality dentists in town - recommend passing on Dr. Haman. more

Excellent dentist 5/17/2010

We've been going to Dr. Haman for about 4 years. My son had a cavity filled there, and he's also had a cavity filled at Comfort Dental. Dr. Haman had him totally relaxed and watching TV during the procedure, when he cried throughout at Comfort Dental. more

fabulous dentist- caring, kind and fun 1/4/2010

I have taken my kids to Dr. Michelle Haman for years and have never had a bad experience. Of course going to the dentist isn't always a pleasurable experience when you need to have work done but Dr Haman and her staff do a great job putting my kids at ease. She has laughing gas when needed for my kids, but usually her kind caring and fun ways are enough to put them at ease, She is fabulous. I think when some one has an issue it is more about their own guilt about neglecting their childrens teeth than about the dentist. When your child repeatidly has decay that is the parents fault! a dentist cannot create this or ""spread"" it- it is just neglect by the parent , so why blame the dentist? I 100% would recommend Dr Haman to anyone and everyone! Pros: best pediatric dentist in town, fun office, helpful staff more

Not a Dentist for Children or Adults 10/24/2009

In defense to the statement presented by ""mathmatic"": My husband and I brushed our daughters gums before she even had teeth. Dr. Michelle Haman exaggerated her cavity situation in the first diagnosis, and then did in fact drill into her tooth root which caused her entire mouth to suffer decay. Another dentist, Dr. Callahan, told us this. Our pediatrician, Dr. Gayle Gilroy, has also received horrific complaints and has since removed her from her recommendation list of pediatric dentists. All children can be affected by cavities for more reasons than just ""infrequent brushing."" (Some lack enough saliva to protect their teeth from developing cavities, etc.) What parent doesn't deal with guilt with any physical dilemma that their children may go through? I will be praying for you, one, that you would develop more compassion for others and two, that your children will never have to go through anything that may require you to post anything but positive results for Dr. Michelle Haman. (You may also want to read what other people have posted on her before insulting those of us who are trying to stand up for our children, and to protect other children from immature and inhumane dental practices.) So to answer your question of, ""Why blame the dentist?"" My answer can only be, ""Because it was her fault."" more

Should Change Professions 10/16/2009

Even one star is too much. Our experience was over 10 years ago and our son has still not forgotten and neither have we. Our pediatric dentist had retired and we mistakenly thought a woman would be a more compassionate and a less-risky option for a pediatric dentist. Gender is obviously not a good judge of compassion. Cons: Inhumane Treatment Terrifying To Children more

wonderful 6/3/2009

I was very surprised at the review that was displayed. I have taken my children to Dr. Haman for seven years and never had a problem. The first time my youngest went I did go back with her and yes she was upset but was expected for the first time at the dentist. The next time I went the assistant had explained that children react better when their parents arent back so I waited in the waiting room and my child did do better. They also recommend this when children have work done because of course your child wants his or her parents when they are getting their teeth fixed because they are nervous but for safety reasons they dont want to take the chance of a child reaching up for their mom because they could get poked or hurt which is understanding. Dr. Haman sets out toys as a reward for the children who have work done or their teeth cleaned because its something special for them. Why should she give toys to every child that is not getting work done? It gives them something to look forward to. As far as policies all buisnesses have policies we may not like but we do have to follow. If your child has to have surgery are you going to demand to go back there of course not again for the safety of your child. If you have a bad feeling about somewhere why return go with your first instinct. If the first time you had a bad feeling then the second time you will go in and analize for all the negative. My opinion you cant satisfy everyone but I wouldnt pick another dentist to bring my children to but Dr. Haman Pros: very caring more

Unprofessional and Mean to Children 11/19/2008

I've taken my two young children to Dr. Haman twice. At the first visit, I vowed to NEVER return. Pros: Location and clean restroom Cons: Unprofessional Dr. & Staff as well as unfriendly. They almost act as if they're doing you a favor. more
