Have LOVED this store 3/25/2019

I am sitting in a parking space in front of the Hall Tree, in total shock. This has been my favorite store since moving to a Richmond in 1976. I can’t imagine a world without it, really, I can’t imagine not contact anymore with the owner and the staff. J will miss their smiling faces. I always got the feeling I was “home” when I walked in. The Hall Tree 7/12/2010

The Hall Tree does have a decent selection of good name brands, however, their prices are not competitive. Their tag sales are also none too good. The staff is every bit of the worst of the Carytown snob hill, making one wonder why they would spend money there. That said, I would expect that one who sells their gently used clothing should be getting a good return on investment. more

I have been there twice and I have been treated like Julia Roberts was treated in the movie Pretty Woman when she is shopping on Rodeo Drive . They have old fashion clothing and it smells. Nothing to be snobby about! more

Okay selection, snooty staff 12/16/2005

The clothing can be quite nice if you're a size 2 to 6, but I've always found the staff here to be quite stand-offish, as though if you're one of those poor people who MUST buy used clothes, they'd rather not have to deal with you. more

Great selection of VERY high end clothes 8/6/2005

Want to look great and don't have a great big budget?? The Hall Tree only accepts clothes from high end stores in excellent condition and then sells them at consignment store prices -- you can find work clothes, dress clothes for a special event and many other things -- they carry mens and children's clothing as well -- in equally good condition, but the women's section is the biggest! more
